Change of Pace

In 5 years, a lot has changed.

For starters, Seungwoo and Raehyun ended things after 3 years and 2 months of dating. Their fans were surprised by the breakup however showed support to the former couple after they explained to the public it was a mutual decision; wanting to focus on themselves and their personal careers.

PANDORA had also disbanded after being an active girl group for 6 years. Their last album, being dedicated to their friendship and gods, sold millions and awarded the girls with a Daesang at the award ceremonies held at the end of the year.

One significant change that shocked most ATINYs was the news that KQ Entertainment announced after the group's 9th anniversary. An announcement that shattered many hearts and caused so much grief to the fandom yet they could only give their love and support after the decision was made.

News of the group's beloved Pirate Queen leaving the idol scene and pursuing a new career pathway.

Although Raehyun loved performing with her members whom she considered her 2nd family and cherished every memory she had created with them and their fans, she believed her time as an idol was coming to an end.

Upon graduating from college and receiving her bachelor's, she took on a fellowship at one of her father's hospitals during a time when ATEEZ was as active. Her younger brother, Hyunjun, had also gained a scholarship at her university and was taking on an internship at the same hospital. With the time she spent working at the hospital, Raehyun figured being a doctor was not her true calling and that she merely studied to become one to fulfil her younger self's dreams.

When she returned to working as a member of ATEEZ, Raehyun thought a lot about whether or not being a musician was what she truly desired. She constantly thought about her late mother and the pure bliss and joy she expressed whenever it came to her flower shop, and that was what Raehyun wanted.

To have the same joy and bliss in her choice of career.

So when her contract ended with KQ, Raehyun sat down with her members and expressed her gratitude towards them and all they had achieved together; also thanking staff members, before announcing her desire for a career change. As expected, the boys of ATEEZ were supportive of her and continue to visit her inherited flower shop whenever they can, despite their busy schedules.

With the many changes and having a new pace in life, the beloved Pirate Queen was able to settle down in her hometown, with her non-celebrity husband. The wedding ceremony was small, only consisting of the couple's family and friends; ATEEZ and PANDORA members included.

So much had changed in Raehyun's life yet she could not be happier with how it turned out. She has met so many inspiring and wonderful people who became her closest and most real friends. Experienced so much as an idol and was given so much love and support from ATINY globally.

Now, at the age of 28, Raehyun and her husband have announced they are expecting to the public, who gave a positive response to the news. Her members could not be more excited to have a niece or nephew who they'll be there for no matter what.
