After being cast in "Love #Hashtag", ATEEZ Raehyun has been receiving acting roles from left to right!
In late May, it was confirmed that KBS was working on a new drama titled, "Broken Bond", a story about 2nd year high school student, Ji Ha Eun and how the bonds she's created with others have been broken over time.
It was confirmed in early June that Black Code's Minhee was to participate in the new drama as Yang Kyung Mi, Ji Ha Eun's best friend and lover of Ahn Tae Geum, who is to be played by SF9's Chani.
On June 23rd, KQ Entertainment released an official statement, confirming Ateez's Raehyun's participation.
KQ Entertainment states: "Hello, this is KQ Entertainment, We are aware of the rumours surrounding our artist, Raehyun of Ateez and the possibility of her joining a new drama. Currently, Raehyun has been busy filming for Love #Hashtag and will be finishing the filming of the drama sometime from late June to early July. When KBS came forth to both us and Raehyun with the lead of Ji Ha Eun for Broken Bond, we were initially uninterested in the offer due to concerns about Raehyun's mental health. However, after discussing with Raehyun and the director of Broken Bond, we can confirm that she will be taking the role of Ji Ha Eun in KBS's new drama. We are excited for fans to see a new side of Raehyun being shown to the public and are excited for her! Thank you."
