"Sus, babe. It was a group effort. Wala ako masyadong ambag dun." nguso ko.
Ngumiti lang siya at hinawi ang takas na buhok sa aking pisngi.
"Just shut up and dance with me, babe." aniya at hinila na ako tungo sa dancefloor.
Nagpatianod naman ako sa kaniya nang dalhin niya ako sa gitna.
The entire time, I was smiling at him.
Marahan kong inilagay ang mga kamay ko sa kaniyang mga balikat at siya naman sa aking bewang.
We swayed to the soft music.
"We're finally grad-waiting, babe." sabi ko sa kaniya.
Yuan smiled wider and pulled me closer. I rested my head on his chest. His cheek is gently pressed against my head.
His lips close to my ear.
"It's because of you, babe. Thank you." bulong niya sa akin.
