Chapter 49

"I'm so proud of you." 

Hindi ko napigilan ang sariling yakapin si Kuya Cyen nang tumayo kami sa harapan ng pintuan ng chapel.

My friends, Athena, and Yuan are already waiting inside.

Kami lang ang laman ng chapel.

It was a good thing kakilala ni Yuan ang priest na magiging officiant ng kasal namin. He said he's always been visiting this place ever since we broke up.

"Thank you, Kuya." Bulong ko sa kaniya habang nakayakap parin.

For the first time in my life, I've made a decision that's entirely my own.

The best part is, it's about to make me a million times happier.

As soon as we heard the music play, kumalas kami sa yakap.

Kuya Cyen offered me his arm to which I happily took.

My lips wouldn't stop smiling from ear to ear as I walked down the aisle.

Ibinibaba niya ang camera at mas lalo akong napangiti nang kumaway sa akin si Josh.

Nagulat ako ng kaunti nang makita ang umakyat sa altar at tumabi kay Yuan. It was Kat who was watching us walk towards them.

I guess she's his best man.

Kuya Cyen gave me a kiss on the cheek as he gave my hand to Yuan.

"Take care of her." I heard my brother whisper.

Nakangiting tumango si Yuan.

Nagkatitigan pa kami bago kami lumapit sa pari.

I feel nothing but pure bliss as the priest started the ceremony. 

"Do you, Kendrick Yuan, take Feliyah Marren to be your lawfully wedded wife from this day forward - to have and to hold, in good times and bad, for richer or for poorer, in sickness and in health; will you love, honor, and cherish her for as long as you both shall live?"

Nagkatinginan kami ni Yuan nang banggitin iyon ni Father.

Kinuha niya ang kamay ko at sinabing, "I do."

"Words cannot simply justify how much I love you. Marren, let this vow be evidence that my love for you is real and unrelenting. I've loved you for five years and I'll be loving you for more. Magsimula tayo ulit... let's restart with forever."
