Arizona's POV

So here I am...again, at the door of a random woman who I only met like an hour ago. However, this was how my weekends went, I would get wasted and end up sleeping with some random woman, but i didn't care. I'm hurting, and this was the only release I got from it. It was the only time I could forget about all the pain I feel on a daily basis because of her. It wasn't the right way to go about it, I know that but all I care about is feeling free and not feeling like I have a big black cloud of pain and misery hovering over my head every day.

"Would you like to come in?" she asked as we stood at her door.

"I would love to." I smiled at the blonde haired girl.

She smiled back and opened her front door, and as soon as she took her coat off, she pulled me to her and kissed me roughly, I instantly kissed her back, our tongues fighting for dominance. A few seconds later, she pulled away and grabbed my hand and pulled me upstairs to her bedroom. As soon as we entered her room, I pushed her on the bed and straddled her before kissing her roughly.

a while later....

"Wow, you're amazing," she panted as we lay next to each other.

"Thanks," I laughed, not the first time I've heard that.

"Could I use your bathroom?" I asked after we caught our breath.

"Yeah, 2nd door on your right." With that, I kissed her and got up and went to the bathroom. About 10 minutes later, I went back to the bedroom, and lucky the blonde haired woman was fast asleep. I tip toed quietly to get my clothes that were dotted around the floor, I walked back out the room and put my clothes back on, I went back downstairs and got my shoes and bag and quietly left the house. I had no idea where i was, I reached for my phone and looked for the taxis number I had saved on my phone. As it was ringing, I staggered down the street, the fresh air making my drunken state worse.

A few rings later, they picked up, and I told them the name of the street as it was on the wall of the corner house. 15 minutes later, the taxi pulled up, and I told him where to go, 20 minutes later, I was home. I paid the driver and went inside I took my shoes off and went straight to the kitchen and poured myself a glass of wine, I then grabbed the bag of crisps and went and sat on the sofa and put the tele on.

Next thing I know, my phone starts ringing, I flicker my eyes open to see the light shining through the windows and I hiss at the brightness. I reached for my phone just as it stopped ringing, I looked and saw a missed call from Lexi and a message.

Lexi:
Wakey wakey, I'll be over in 20. You best be ready xx

I looked at the time on my phone, and my eyes shot open. Shit. It's 9am. I start work at half past, I cursed at myself as I realised in my drunken state I hadn't set my alarm last night. I stood up and immediately nearly fell forward, clearly still a little pissed. I made my way slowly upstairs to freshen up brushing my teeth a few times to get rid of the smell and taste of alcohol. I quickly got dressed and tried to make myself look sort of presentable, the struggle I have to deal with every Monday. I got my shoes out of the cupboard, and as I started walking down the stairs, the front door opened.

"Arizona," Lexi shouted.

"Lexi shhh," I pleaded, holding my head.

"You shouldn't drink so much then you wouldn't have a hangover and have a headache," she stated, handing me a Costa coffee that she knew I well and truly needed. I got my bag and coat, and we got in the car and headed to work.

Lexi is my best friend and has been since we were about 4, we've been through everything together. We are practically joined at the hip and have been for 24 years.

"So what time did you get in last night?" she asked, eyes fixed on the road.

"erm think it was about half 2, I don't really remember, all I remember is going home with some girl," I stated, taking a sip of my coffee.

"Arizona," Lexi sighed

"Lexi don't." I stared at her seeing the sad expression on her face. I took a sip of my coffee as we drove the rest of the way in silence. A few minutes later we arrived at the café.

It was a little deli shop/café that we worked at. It was the only one like it in the town, which made it rather popular. It was owned by our other best friend called Amelia. She set it up with her husband Link about 3 years ago and asked us to manage it, which we said yes to straight away. Even thought I am the manager I could easily say I don't want to come in but what kind of example is that setting to the other staff and I don't want Amelia to regret making me manager. Plus, working all day, keeping busy keeps my mind occupied.

"So tell me about this woman then," Lexi asked she always asked about the women I went home with, and I thought she was a bit lonely, I thought to myself. I couldn't help but giggle at the thought as I replied.

"Don't really remember much." I giggle as I set the tables up.

"erm she had blonde hair and was very fit," I recalled, a fuzzy picture appearing in my head of the mystery blonde women.

"That's it," Lexi quizzed, setting up the tills.

"I remember the sex being pretty good as well, but that's it," I laughed, causing Lexi to laugh as well.

We finished setting the deli/café up as the staff started to arrive. Before long, we were busy, and all I wanted to do was go home and sleep. I stayed in the office most of the day doing paperwork; bills, orders, etc, while Lexi managed out front.

"Meet Amelia in 15 at Nando's if your game," Lexi asked as I was cashing up the till.

"Yeah, sure, give me 5 minutes." With that, I locked up the till and went back to the office, locking the money in the safe. I switched everything off and headed back out so we could lock up and go get food.

"Hey," Amelia grinned as she walked over to us as we arrived at Nando's.

"Hey," I smiled, giving her a hug, followed by Lexi doing the same.

We walked in and got shown to our usual table in the corner by the window. We ordered our food and drinks and just sat talking. They made sure I didn't get an alcoholic drink, which I was bummed about, so I just stuck with a coke.

Both these girls are my rocks. I wouldn't know what I would do without them, especially over the past few months. I thought I was lucky having Lexi as a best friend, but then meeting Amelia 10 years ago was the icing on the cake, we became the three musketeers, and nothing or no one can come between us.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So I originally started uploading this fanfic as a Jerrie one called The Cure but wasnt that popular whereas my Calzona ones are so I've decided to republish it as a Calzona one so if you started reading it as a Jerrie one Im sorry....
