I should say something, but I was still in a little bit of shock. We've not long got back together, and now she is talking about moving in together to look after me. I'm not complaining one bit. I would happily live with her, I don't ever want to go a day without her I just didn't expect it and I don't want to get my hopes up in case she didn't mean it. Before I could speak, Arizona spoke.
"I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have said that to him that without speaking to you first I just..I know you don't want to be in here any longer and I don't think they will discharge you unless you have someone to help you at home...it's a stupid idea I mean you can't live with me you've got your own home and Sofia and..." Arizona blurted as she let go of my hand.
"Arizona, breath," I said, stopping her in her tracks. She shyly looked at her hands. What she was saying was right, I have Sofia. I can't just pack up and move somewhere else, even if it is only for a few weeks.
"I can't move in with you because you're right, I've got Sofia to think about," I said, I could see her facial expressions sadden.
"So come stay with me instead," I said after a few seconds, her head shot up at my words. Shock visible on her face.
"W-what," she stuttered.
"If you're serious about looking after me, then come stay with me,"
"That's only if you want to. I mean, it is like 30 minutes from your work and Lexi, and I don't want you to feel like you have to, I mean... . " This time, it was my turn to babble. She just started laughing, which made me shut up.
"I don't mind one bit. I only said about moving in with me because I didn't want to invite myself to move in with you," she laughed.
"If you want me to come stay with you, I will, and only if Sofia is okay with it and if you don't think it's weird or too soon," she smiles.
"she loves you, Arizona, she won't have a problem with you staying, it will be when you leave that we might have a problem," I chuckle.
"it's settled then," she smiles as she leans in and gives me a kiss on the lips.
A week later...
Today I can finally go home and I can not wait! I'm nervous but so excited that Arizona is moving in for a couple of weeks. Sofia is beyond excited. She was more excited about Arizona moving in than me coming home. I tried to pretend to be upset about it, but I failed, I just found it so cute.
"You ready?" Arizona smiles as she walks into the room with a wheelchair.
"So ready." She walks over to me and places the wheelchair next to me. I sat in the chair, and Arizona grabbed my bags and the crutches, and we left the hospital, I was so glad to see the back of it. Once I was in the car, she quickly took the wheelchair back, and a couple of seconds later, she returned, and we set off home.
25 minutes later, Arizona pulled up outside my house after directions from me, since she had never been to my house before. The realisation makes me even more anxious. What if she doesn't like my house? What if it's a mess. I know I was being stupid, but I couldn't stop the thoughts appearing in my mind. She got out, gave me the crutches and got mine and her bags from the boot, and we headed inside. It felt so good to be back in my own home. I went straight and sat on the sofa, loving the comfort of it after weeks in a hospital bed.
"Want a drink?" Arizona asks as she places the bag on the floor.
"Coffee, please." I smile. She stood there for a few seconds, looking around, clearly trying to figure out what door was to the kitchen.
"Kitchen is this way." I chuckled as I stood up with the help of the crutches and slowly walked to the door left of the room. She smiles shyly before following me. I walked into the kitchen and filled the kettle with water before flicking it on.
"Sit down, I'll do it," she said. I smiled as I sat on the chair by the breakfast bar.
"Cups are above the kettle," I smile. She nods and takes 2 out. I can't help but smile. Arizona is in my house, she is mine and it feels so good that she is here.
Later that day...
I was sitting watching tele when I heard the front door open, and within seconds, Sofia came running into the living room
"Mummy," Sofia shouts as she jumps on the sofa next to me. I instantly pull her into me, loving the way she feels in my arms. God, I've missed her so much.
"hey babygirl" I smile, giving her a kiss on her head.
"Hey," I looked up and saw Mark walking in.
"Hey," I smile
"Glad to see you back," he said as he placed Sofia's bags down.
"Thanks,"
"Right, I will see you soon, sweetheart," he says to Sofia, who gets up and gives him a hug. He gives her a kiss on the cheek before putting her down and leaving. He is so good with her, an amazing dad, and even though we aren't together anymore, there is no one else I would rather have to father my child.
"Where is Arizona?" Sofia asked as she sat next to me.
"I'm here." I looked up and saw Arizona walk out of the kitchen. Sofia instantly jumped up and ran and jumped in Arizona's arms. She carried Sofia in her arms and sat in the chair next to me.
"Who's hungry?" Arizona asks.
"Me me me me , " Sofia giggles
"Shall we get pizza?" I ask
"yyyeyyyy pizza," Sofia said excitedly, jumping up and down in Arizona's lap. I don't think I will ever get used to seeing these two together. It fills me with so much joy and happiness seeing the two things I love most in the world getting on so well. I don't know what I would do if they didn't.

writing that little bit with Mark and Sofia actually made me a little sad. I so wish we could have seen Mark being a dad to Sofia a lot longer than we did.
anyway......thoughts? sorry for the long update. I was away for my birthday.
