Arizona's POV

A year later...

Today is the day we are getting married, and I'm beyond excited. I've waited all my life for Callie and to know that in a couple of hours, she will be my wife. it's a feeling I can't explain.

I stayed over at Lexi's, and Amelia is coming over to help me get ready. Callie stayed at our house with her friends. I didn't care about doing the whole day, not seeing each other until the alter thing, but Callie was adamant that she wanted to do it, so..naturally we did it.

Later that day...

I feel sick. I'm that nervous. I can hear the music as my heart beats faster. I tighten my grip on my dads arm as the door opens. I take one last deep breath as we start to walk around the corner to the top of the aisle. The room is full of people, my family and friends on the left, and Callie's on the right. As soon as I come into view, they all turn and stare. I smile as I look around, but then I see Callie standing at the altar, and everyone around me disappears, and all I see is that Callie smiling at me tears in her eyes. She looked absolutely breathtaking. It felt like forever until I finally reached her as my dad took my hand and held it out for Callie to take.

It seemed to take forever until we finally got to the rings. We were going to do our own vows, but we decided in the end to stick to the traditional vows, which I was glad about. I would have fumbled over my words so many times. It was easier this way.....

"Do you Arizona Robbins take Calliope Iphegenia Torres to be your wife, to have and to hold from this day forward?"

"I do," I smile as I push the finger on her finger. Callie then picked up my ring and placed it in my finger.

"Do you Calliope Iphegenia Torres take Arizona Robbins to be your wife, to have and to hold from this day forward"

"I do," she smiles and pushes the ring on my finger.

"I now pronounce you wife and wife, you may kiss." Instantly, we leaned forward and connected our lips as the room erupted with cheers and clapping....

"I love you,"

"I love you too,"

Some time in the future.....

I can feel my heart beating so fast, yet I feel like I can't breathe. This is the longest 3 minutes of my life. 2 years, 2 failed attempts, and 1 miscarriage this is our last hope. I can't take it if it hasn't worked. We don't have any money left.

"Arizona," Callie called from the other side of the door, snapping me back from my thoughts.

"30 seconds," I say back, and I watch the clock go down. I looked down and had to read it multiple times until it sank in.

"Arizona," Callie calls again. I stand up and unlock the door. Within a split second, Callie opens the door. I look up and see her face covered with anticipation.

"We're having a baby," I almost yelled as I showed her the test.

"We're having a baby," she says more as a question.

"We're having a baby," I repeat. She pulls me into her, lifts me up, and spins me around before putting me back down. She then smashes our lips together.

"We have to tell everybody," she beams. I suddenly felt a little anxious.

"Can we wait, I can't deal with another repeat of last time," I said as the memories flooded my mind of our miscarriage.

"Hey, it's going to be okay, we will wait for the first 3 months to be up, okay?" she smiled. I just nodded.

"But we are going to have a baby," she beamed. I couldn't help but smile as well.

"I know."

Im beyond happy. I just hope we don't lose it again. Once the first 8 weeks are up, then I'll be able to breathe a little easier because that's when I lost it. It was absolutely heartbreaking.

5 months later....

Today is our gender reveal party, and I'm so excited. A couple of days after our 3 month scan, we told everyone, and they were all so happy and excited. Lexi and Amelia talked us into having a gender reveal party. Well, they didn't have to do much persuading when it came to Callie. She wanted one for Sofia, but Mark didn't, so she never did. But I have to admit I am really looking forward to it.

Lexi and Amelia set everything up in our garden, and it looked amazing. We decided on a balloon that will either have blue or pink confetti in. No one knows the sex, Lexi took the envelope to the shop, and they gave her the right balloon.

It wasn't long before everyone turned up, and we were all outside. Lexi passed me the balloon and went back to join the others. It doesn't matter to me if its a boy or a girl as long as they are healthy.

I grabbed the balloon and went and stood next to Callie. She had to pin and pass me one. When everyone was ready, we all counted down to 3. My heart was racing.

"3.....2....1" One 1, me and Callie popped the balloon, and blue confetti flew everywhere. Everyone cheered and clapped. I couldn't help but grin ear to ear.

" We're having a son," Callie said. I could see tears filling in her eyes.

"Baby Zachary," I smiled. As I put my free hand on my belly. Callie put her hand on top of mine.

"Zachary Robbins Torres," she smiles. I lean in and connect our lips.

After we parted, Sofia came running up to Callie, who picked her up straight away.

"You're gonna have  a baby brother," I tell her.

"Yeyyyy," she beams, clapping her hands excitingly.

I can't believe how my life has turned out. From drinking and having one night stands every week. I was wondering if I'd ever get over Carina. To have the most beautiful wife and daughter and a son on the way. I count my lucky stars every day for Callie and Sofia. They gave me something I never knew I needed. It wasn't until they came into my life that I realised I was missing a piece of me. Now, with Zachary on the way, I feel complete.
