Arizona's POV
I was just sitting on the sofa having a coffee and thinking. It's been 3 weeks since I moved into Callie's, and I am loving it so much. Way more than I want to admit. Waking up next to her every day is like a dream. I haven't drunk at all since she was in hospital, and I feel so good about it, mentally and physically. I don't think I've ever felt this good, and that is down to the beautiful latino upstairs.
"Arizona," I hear Callie shout from upstairs. I put my coffee down and walked upstairs. My mouth nearly drops when I walk into the bedroom. She is stood there in just her lingerie.
"Need help picking your jaw off the floor," she laughs. I could feel myself blush.
"Whats up?" I said, trying to act normal.
"I'm getting in the shower," she smiles as she walks slowly towards me.
"And..." she grins as she slowly upzips my hoody.
"I was wondering if you would like to join me." I could feel a lump form in my throat. God, the effect she has on me is ridiculous. I just nod in response as words have failed me. This is the first time anything like this has happened since before we broke up. I mean, we've kissed, but with Sofia here, it's hard to do anything more, and obviously, with her still recovering, I never pushed it. But now....
She leans in and connects our lips as she pulls my hoody off me. She then starts to lift my top up, breaking a kiss for a few seconds. Once my top was off, I instantly connected our lips again. She pushes me against the door as the kiss deepens. It didn't take long before the rest of our clothes were scattered across the floor.
She took my hand in hers and led me into the ensuit bathroom. The shower was already running, so it was already hot. She stepped in and pulled me in with her instantly, kissing me as the water ran down our bodies. The kisses start to heat up, and she inserts her tongue. She put her hands on my shoulder and ran her nails down my back, leaving little scratch marks. She knows that drives me crazy. A few seconds later, I grabbed hold of her hair and gently pulled her head back, exposing her neck. I quickly started kissing her neck until I found her soft spot, which caused her to moan....
Some time later...
"Damn..." I smile as we both stand there catching our breaths. We just let the water run down us for a few moments until we calmed down. We both had a quick wash and got out. We both got dry and got dressed. I had just put my hoodie back on when Callie spoke.
"Move in with me," Callie blurts out.
"I have," I said, a little confused.
"No, I mean properly, for good, I don't need any help anymore, but I don't want you to go." For the second time today, my mouth felt like it hit the floor.
"I..."
"I'm sorry, just forget it, it was stupid. I mean, we haven't been together that long, and I can't expect you to drop everything permanently and..." she stopped when I started laughing as I walked towards her.
"What?"
"You're so cute when you're flustered," I smile, leaning in and kissing her.
"So..." she said
"Yes, I'd love too,"
"Really," she beamed.
"Yeah but could we find our own house, not like I don't like this one but this is your house not ours, and maybe somewhere between here and mine, but only if Sofia will be okay with it, she's what matters most"
"Well, I've already spoken to her, and she is beyond excited," Callie says with a little smile on her face.
"Well, okay then," I smile.
"But I will have to go back to work, which means I'll have to go back to mine," I said as the smile faded a little from both our faces.
"But I will stay a few more days okay and then when Sofia is at Marks you can stay at mine and I'll come see you on my days off, how does that sound" I ask trying to stay a little positive. But I'd be lying if I said I'm not sad that I have to leave, but I knew I would at some point, and it won't be for long.
"Okay," Callie said saddly.
"Hey," I say, taking her hand into mine.
"Let's go look at some houses." I smile, which seemed to cheer her up a little. We went downstairs, and while Callie set up her laptop, I went and made us some coffee, feeling a mixture of emotions. I am happy that we are going to be living together, properly, and getting our own home. But I'm sad that I have to leave, but I need to get back to work. I've been off too long, and it's not fair on Lexi or Amelia. I finished making the coffees and headed back into the living room, and sat next to Callie, who was already going through the listing.
"Look at this one," she says, pointing to a beautiful house that was way out of our price range.
"Erm Callie, unless you have hundreds of thousands of pounds laying around that I don't know about, I don't think we can afford that." I smile.
"I know, but it doesn't hurt to dream," she laughs.
"So what do we want?" she asks.
"3/4 bedrooms, a garden, a beautiful kitchen, ooo and our bedroom needs to have an ensuit erm.." I said, trying to think.
'Nothing much then,' Callie laughs.
"Only the best," I grin. We turned our attention back to the seach. We must have spent at least 20 minutes looking, but nothing was really catching our eye. I guess we just have to keep looking. I just hope it's not going to take long.
