2 days later...

"Arizona." I look up from setting up the till and see Sofia and Callie walk through the door. I walk around the counter, and Sofia runs into my open arms, I pick her up, instantly hugging her.

"Hey you," I smile, giving her a kiss on her head.

"You okay?" I ask. She just nodded.

"How's nursery been?"

"Good, I painted another picture," she grins.

"Did you, I bet it's amazing. I can't wait to see it," she just giggled.

"Want some juice?" I asks she nods again, and I walked around the counter, Sofia still in my arms. I get a juice box out of the fridge and give it to her. I put her down, and she runs to the nearest table and sits down. I look up and see Callie smiling at me.

"Hey," I smile.

"Was wondering when you was going to notice me," she laughs.

"Aww, I'm sorry, beautiful." I chuckle as I walk to her, instantly kissing her. I know it's only been 2 days, but I've missed kissing her.

"I love seeing you with Sofia, so I will let you off," she said, giving me another kiss.

"She wanted to come see you before, nursey, she couldn't wait till later so Mark is picking her up soon." Callie smiled.

"She's too cute," I said, looking at Sofia, who was playing with the stuff on the table.

"Help me finish setting up, then I'll make us a drink, and we can sit down before we open," I smile. 10 minutes later , we finished setting up and sat down with Sofia.

"You looking forward to our sleepover," I ask Sofia, taking a sip of my coffee.

"Yeah," she beamed, nearly jumping off her seat.

"Can I sleep in your bed?" she asks.

"If you're good," I laugh. She jumps up excitingly before going back to playing.

20 minutes later, Mark came and took Sofia to nursey, and once they left me and Callie opened up, and we were soon joined by Amelia and Beth. The first half of the day went by quite quickly. It's so fun working with these guys even if Lexi was embarrassing me with stories from our youth.

I had just come off my break with Callie, and I had just taken an order when the cafe door opened again. Like always, I looked up and froze. Carina had just walked in with her best friend, Teddy. She hasn't been in here in years.

"Shit," I said as hot water spilt from the cup over my fingers.

"You ok, here, go run your hand under cold water," Lexi says as she takes over, making the drink order. The look she gave me made me know she had seen Carina come in.

I slowly walked to the sink and put my hand under the tap, my eyes never leaving Carina as she made her way to the table in the corner. What is she doing her. She hasn't been in here since we broke up. I haven't even seen or spoken to her since she told me about Callie and Sofia.

I was still staring when she looked my way and caught me looking. But instead of giving me a horrible look, she gave me a small smile before looking back at Teddy. I just stared, a blank expression covering my face.

"Hey you okay." I snap my head away from Carina to see Callie standing next to me, looking concerned.

"Er yeah, just spilt hot water over my fingers, but it's okay," I said as I turned the tap off. She just looked at me, a look I know all too well.

"Carina is over there." I sigh after a few seconds, pointing to the table in the corner. She turned her head and looked where I was pointing.

"She's pretty," she replied with no emotion in her tone. I just stayed silent.

"What is she doing here?" I just shrugged my shoulders.

"Okay," she said, then she just walked off and carried on working. I know she isn't okay about Carina being here, I can tell. After a few seconds, I pulled myself together and got back to work, but I couldn't stop looking over at the corner. Callie hasn't said anything or even looked at me since, and it was making all this even more depressing.

"Arizona, can you take this to table 4" Beth said, putting a tray in front of me that had 2 coffees on. Table 4 is where Carina is sat, but before I could say no, she walked off to make more drinks. I took a deep breath and picked up the tray, and walked over to the table. I could see from the corner of my eye that Callie was looking at me.

"2 coffees," I said as I stopped at the table and placed the tray down.

"Hey," Carina smiled at me.

"Hi," I replied. I didn't give her a chance to say anything else. I just turned around and walked away. I don't really know what I feel right now. I feel so many things yet feel so numb at the same time.

I could see Callie and Lexi looking at me as I went back behind the counter, but I ignored them. I forced a smile as I served the next customer, hoping and praying that Carina would leave soon. However 30minutes had passed, and they were still sitting there until finally they got up to leave. I felt a sigh of relief until Carina came up to the counter and stopped in front of me.

"Arizona, can we talk?"

"I'm working, and if you aren't ordering anything else, then please leave." I was surprised that my voice worked.

"Arizona, please," she pleaded with a look of desperation. I stared at her for a few seconds.

"I finish at 6" I then turned around and nearly bumped into Callie , who stood behind me. She had a look of hurt and anger on her face.
