Kiran's POV....

Jake gulped after introducing himself. I put my hand on my Daddy's shoulder for him to realize that we need to welcome him in.

"Come inside young lad." He reported Jake who respectively nodded before entering inside. As much as I'm happy to finally see him I'm more nervous of how my parents are going to behave in front of him.

"So Jake, how old are you?" It was my Mum who started with the rapid fire. "I'm nineteen years old ma'am." He replied her in a relaxing manner. Ugh I wish he pass this ridiculous MCQs test by my parents.

"How do you know our daughter?" It's Dad's turn. "We both are classmates Sir, we know each other for almost one and a half year now." Again Jake answered with same relaxing attitude. He's so confident about something.

"And how long it is since you starting dating each other?" Dad was turned around the quiz. "One year, two month & 10 days, Sir." I would've definitely kissed him for answering like that but had to control my emotions in front of my parents.

"What your parents do for living? And do you have a job or something?" I closed my eyes hearing Dad questioning in his typical rude sentences.

"I lost both my parents in a plan crush. My father was a business man and my mother helped him manage his work with him. And for me sir, I'm the head of a fighter camp. I have a stable job." Again Jake gave him a proper reply confidently.

Both Mum and Dad shockingly watched him with open mouths. "Do you really love our Kiran or just playing boyfriend girlfriend with her?" I sighed with anger. "Daddy" I loudly rumble cutting his sentence.

"It's okay Kiran they are your parents they should know each and every little detail about me." Jake chimed looking at me giving me his signature smile.

"Sir, I love your daughter more than I love anything in this world. I lost my parents and I only had my cousin brother and sister with me. But your daughter lit my life up encroaching into my life, spreading her light on my dark life. I have no intention to make her my girlfriend." Jake proudly explained looking at me with a hint of sparkle in his dark coal colored eyes.

"I'm waiting for the right moment for both of us to enter our perfect age. As Kiran will turn eighteen next month she'll have all the rights to make her life's decisions but, I want to ask both of you, I know you don't know me well but your daughter do. Will you give me your daughter for life to cherish her, to love her for eternity?" My eyes widened and heart leaped inside of my chest. The tears rolled down my cheeks hearing the most beautiful confession.

My parents were speechless. I ignored them swiftly making my way towards him. Tackling him in a hug wrapping my arms around his neck. He respectively put one hand on my back so it doesn't feel bad in front of my parents. Backing me a little still his left arm wrapped around me, holding my hand with his right one.

"I'll come with my brother and sister to ask you officially Sir, to ask you to love, adore & to be devoted towards, your dearest daughter Kiran Elvis is my one and only Treasure whom I Love very much." He verbalized politely like a true gentleman.

My dad coughed awkwardly turning around. I looked down sadly. "Stay for dinner with us Jake." He uttered before making his way towards the kitchen. I beamed brightly, Mom gave me a sweet smile while nodding at Jake following dad.
