Winter?" I asked focusing on the road as we are cycling back to our home from school.
"Yeah" he answered me confusingly.
"Did we really made friends on our first day of school? Like seriously we'll hangout with them, and visit each other on weekends, and--
"Woah woah slow down Perry." Winter cut off my endless question quiz .
"I know I'm over exaggerating but Win, I I, I still can't believe we have friends. We made four friends on our first day of school and all four of them are so nice and warm." I honestly told Winter what I was thinking all along.
"I know Perry, it's like a gift to us from God. We never had friends in these past seventeen years of our lives and now, we have four really nice peoples as our friends."Winter said with a huge smile on his face.
"I can't wait to tell Mom about our wonderful first day of school." I said with so much excitement. "WinWin hurry, speed up will you and please stop thinking about Azalea so you can focus on the road." I teased him, laughing at his reaction.
"Perry I will kill you if you tell mom anything about Azalea and our flower incident I swear." He shouted at me speeding up to catch up with my bike.
I laughed at him loudly speeding up.

"Hey Mom we are back." Winter shouted as we enter our home.
"Oh my Cubs are back. How was your first day of school?" Mom loudly asked as from the kitchen.
Mom is making blueberry pie the aroma of pie is making me hungry.
"Mom"
"Mom, Momm"
Winter and I started to tell what happened today but we both are too much excited to tell about our wonderful day.
"Kids behave like adults for once.
Precious you go first then Winter." Mom rolled her eyes.
"Mom we made four friends on our first day can you believe that and all four of them are so sweet. We share some classes together and we share the same table at cafeteria." I said without taking a break.
"And mom we asked them to come over for a house warming party next week and you'll get to meet them too." Winter said after me with enthusiasm.
"And Mom the three of them are cousins, Sky, Jake & Azalea.
And there this sweet girl Kiran." I added after Winter.
Both Winter and I excitedly told everything to Mom.
Mom didn't react until we heard a soft sob coming from behind the kitchen counter.
We both rushed to her side.
"Mom what happened, why are you crying? Are you hurt or sick?" Winter asked her worriedly.
Both of us are on the edge of crying any moment now.
Mom lifted her head up smiling at both of us.
"My kids are so happy making new friends living their lives as they should in this age. I'm so happy. Wood would've cried his eyes out seeing both of you talking about your first day like this." Mom said tears foaming in her eyes with a sad smile on her lips.
