Hoseok seemed to have developed a wide age range

Hoseok seemed to have developed a wide age range. Some days he was old enough to play around with Yoongi and even feed himself. He could take care of himself on some days, but others he was so little that he couldn't even talk in decipherable Korean. Yoongi guessed it was somewhere in between an infant and a seven or eight year old. An eight year age gap is pretty irregular for a little, he figured.

Today, Yoongi played a track he had worked on, a scratch song that he was making. It was for himself, not the group, so naturally it would have sufficient profanity. However, he's forgotten that Hoseok was in the room, little, and at an impressionable age at that.

Hoseok laid on the floor on his tummy, playing with his Mang doll and making it do a little dance. His bright yellow pacifier stuck out from his lips, and he wiggled around softly on his soft, pastel green blanket. Yoongi had put him on the ground for "tummy time", while he worked on a song, clicking away at his mouse. He was definitely around a toddler age at this point, barely out of infant territory.

"Hmm... what if I layered this onto..." Yoongi whispered to himself, clicking his mouse and dragging things around to layer the sounds. His own aggressive voice was thrown at him from the screen as he worked, cursing him out indirectly. Hoseok listened in to the words, liking how some of them sounded. He took the pacifier from his mouth and took a deep breath, preparing to show Yoongi what he learned.

"Dada! Dada! Fuck!" Hoseok giggled, clapping excitedly. Yoongi's head whipped around to face the little, who laid on the floor of the studio clapping and giggling, laying on his tummy on the pastel blanket below him. Yoongi thought for a moment about how to go about this. He didn't want to freak out or anything, but he wanted to make sure Hoseok didn't say it again.

"Hey, we don't say bad words like that." Yoongi warned softly, crouching down and earning a pout from Hoseok. The little didn't realize it was bad until Yoongi scolded him.

"Dada say it!" Hoseok argued, a reaching his arms out and still laying on his stomach.

"Dada's big, Sunflower. He can say things like that. Little boys cannot." Yoongi smiled softly, bopping Hoseok's nose, as he giggled again.

Hoseok nodded his head vigorously and then outstretched his hands back down to the ground, grunting and trying to get back to tummy time. Yoongi laid him back down on the blanket and Hoseok cooed, rolling back on his tummy and making satisfied little squeals.

"I love you, Sunflower." Yoongi grinned, watching Hoseok put his pacifier back in his mouth and wiggle around happily. The caregiver turned back to the computer screen he worked on, clicking back to his work again.

Hoseok squirmed around happily and looked at his hyung with all the admiration his little eyes could hold. His paci fell from his lips and he held his Mang plushie tighter.

"Hobi wuv Dada!"

"I shouldn't have said that..." Hoseok paced around the room, biting his nails. He's just screamed at Namjoon for messing up their dance. He took out his frustration on his dongsaeng and shouldn't have! He'd been so stressed lately, and with their single releasing soon, Hoseok hadn't slipped in weeks. When he gets serious, he gets serious.

But he never should have yelled at their leader like that.

He shouldn't have yelled at his friend.

The door opened to reveal Yoongi, who quickly rushed over to give him a hug.

"Yoonie..." Hoseok's lip quivered as he fell into the shorter man's arms. Yoongi held onto him, both of them falling to the floor and staying there. "Hobi do a b-bad ting! Hobi sowwy!!"

Yoongi certainly could tell that when he walked in, Hoseok crumbled and slipped. "Take deep breaths, Sunflower. It's okay, Joon's okay." Yoongi rubbed Hoseok's back, who hiccuped and fiddled with his hands. He sniffled and started to cry in Yoongi's shoulder.

"Can't go b-back... 'm scawed." Hoseok whimpered. Yoongi nodded and let the little out of his embrace softly.

"I'll go talk to them. I'm sure they'll understand how stressed you are." Yoongi hushed his baby as Hoseok nodded, still crying. He took slow, hiccuped breaths

"Don't... no let dem see me, Yoonie." Hoseok pleaded, not wanting to have to go back into the practice room in this state. "Pwease..." Yoongi nodded again, understanding. He'd explain as vaguely as possible that Hoseok was having a rough day and that he needed to stop practice. He'd try to convince a choreographer to teach the others instead of his distressed little Hobi.

"I'll see what I can do for you, Sunshine. Daddy's got you, I promise."

And he meant that.

The two had been excused for the day. Yoongi had stopped into the Genius Lab before going home. He wanted to finish a song he'd been working on lately and was really trying to fine-tune it, making it perfect.

He brought Hoseok, who slipped completely by now, to calm down in the genius lab, writing nonsense words and calling it songwriting too, because he wanted to "make pwetty song fow daddy!". And who was Yoongi to refuse his baby's ideas?

Hoseok ended up taking a nap like he said, but ended up falling asleep with a pacifier in his mouth and curled up in a fluffy sweater on the studio's couch. He made little snores while he slept that almost sounded like squeaking.

Yoongi looked at the time on his monitor, which read 7:36 pm. He needed to head back to the dorm soon and definitely needed to return Hoseok home before someone got suspicious.

Yoongi got up from his chair and nudged Hoseok awake gently. His eyes stirred open and he yawned, making unintelligible noises and babbles. His blue pacifier fell from his mouth as his caregiver held his hand and helped him off the couch.

"Come on, baby. I've got to lock up the studio, walk with me to the car, okay? Can my baby walk today?"

Hoseok nodded and held onto Yoongi's hand, still sleepy and still little, down the halls of BigHit and to their parking garage. He got in the car and stayed there, falling asleep in the backseat. It was times like these that Yoongi realized that having a security system as tight as their label's was beneficial. He smiled, knowing that Hoseok would be okay in the car, while he locked up the Genius Lab.

He was just bounding the corner to get to it, before a chill ran up his spine.

He'd forgotten something.

The door was open.

"Yoongi-hyung! You left something in the studio!" Jimin's voice rang out as Yoongi's blood turned cold. He was definitely gonna get the wrong idea.

And now, Yoongi realized in that moment that there was no way out. Sooner or later, their little secret would become a big problem.

A/N: It's been a while! I'm super sorry about the lack of updates! This one was really hard to write because I had to do it on my phone... and I don't have the app (can't because for some reason it's an 18+ app and my mom won't let me get that despite being 17...), so it's mobile. My iPad broke (I'm so upset by the way) and my computer is unavailable. So, I haven't been able to write, but I desperately needed to update this for everyone!

I love Sope so much! 🥺 This is just more insight of what Sope has been doing behind the scenes this whole time in the story. I will try to update more and I'll get back to the storyline because I know that's what y'all want.

Thank you for the reads! The number is overwhelming and I'm really surprised that people like this sorry so much! 18K is a lot, and every milestone is a number I never thought I'd get to. So, thank you! Your votes and reads mean so much to me!

I love you all so, so much! Look forward to more chapters soon! Sleep well, soundwaves!
