32. Bad disease

We spent the rest of the day hiking, and when we returned we were all tired. Alex made us margaritas and we just sat in the living room and talked.

Once we were all tipsy we started doing karaoke, and it was the most hilarious thing.

Me and Alex sang and tried to hold our laughters.

We sang as we looked in each other eyes but we quickly started laughing. I pressed my forehead against his chest and he hugged me as we kept laughing.

"The perfect Rose and Jack." Matt said and everybody started laughing. "No but seriously. Bella needs to dye her hair red and Alex blonde."

"No." We both said and we started laughing again.

"Shut up! Come on Bella, we sure can hit that high note!" Katie laughed and grabbed Alex's microphone from his hand but we both ended up laughing with tears on the sofa after.

"That was horrible!" Jamie exclaimed.

"Says you." Alex said. "I accidentally drank from yer glass. I'll get you another drink, love." Alex said to me.

I nodded and I watched him with the corner of my eye as he walked over to the small bar. I went to the toilet and when I returned I saw Alex with a napkin in his hand.

"I spilled your drink on the settee." He chuckled and I started laughing.

"Clumsy as always." I said and walked over him. I yawned and covered my mouth with my hand.

"Are you tired?" He asked quietly and I shrugged. "You can always go to sleep."

"I hope that your heater is working tonight." I said sarcastically.

"It really wasn't working!" Alex laughed.

We got interrupted by my phone that started calling and I went to the kitchen and answered.

"Hi baby!"

"Hey Theo! How are you?" I asked.

"Fine, fine...How was your day?" He asked.

Oh boy...

"It was fine, yeah." I said and sat down on a chair.

"I saw the photos that you sent to me...Why were you sitting on Alex's lap?" He asked.

"What? He was just teaching me how to play the guitar." I said honestly. "Why are you jealous?"

"What if you saw a girl sitting in my lap? You would be mad, right? Alex is just trying to get under your pants. Babe, you have to stop being so close to him." He said.

"I'm sorry? Alex is just a...A friend. And yes, you are right. I'm sorry." I said. "Anyways, I'm going to sleep now. Good night!"

"Good night babe." He said and hung up.

I sighed and walked back in the living room, quickly walking to the stairs.

"Ey, love, what happened?"

"Hm?" I hummed and turned around just to meet those big hazel eyes. "I'm going to sleep."

"What happened?" He repeated.

"I will tell you tomorrow." I sighed. "Do you wanna...Come?"

"What?" He quickly asked and widened his eyes.
