"Miss Langford?" My teacher called and I turned around. We were actually somehow friends and it was just me and her in the class.

"Yes?" I asked and closed my notebook.

"Someone is looking for you." She said smiling and I furrowed my eyebrows. "And it's not Mr. Davidson, he's not at school on Monday."

"Thank you." I nodded and grabbed my bag. "Have a good day miss!"

Who could be possibly looking for me?

"Bella!" A high pitched voice exclaimed.

I turned around and saw Alex. Of course it was Alex.

"What do you want?" I asked and started walking towards the school's backyard.

"You're different." Alex said and I looked back at him and stopped walking.

"What?"

"You're a different girl today." He said and I sighed and stepped outside and walked over to our tree.

"Don't act like that kiss didn't happened," Alex said and I looked at him. "As if it's impolite."

"It is actually." I nodded and sat down on the grass. "You are together with my sister but you also have a crush on somebody else Alex."

"You're so clueless!" Alex exclaimed and I widened my eyes.

"What?" I asked confused.

"Just... It doesn't matter, let's go." He said and stood up.

"Where?"

"Home? I'll still take you home if you didn't realised that yet." Alex said and I smiled and nodded.

"Thank you.." I said quietly. "Is this your car?" I asked as we got in a black mini cooper.

"Yeah, I got it on me eighteen birthday. Jamie and Matt were almost crying of jealousy." He chuckled. "But we mostly use it for going to our gigs."

"Ohh..." I mumbled. "When's the next gig? You never told me about these things."

"I don't know... I think in December." Alex said and I nodded.

"Are we still going out? Or do you hate me?" I asked and looked down at my thighs.

"Why would I hate you love? And of course." Alex replied and I shrugged.

"I tried to push you away... But it's not working." I chuckled. "We're still friends right? After what happe-"

"Of course we are Bella. And why would you push me away?" Alex asked and his gaze moved from the road to me. "Bel, I really li-"

"Is that Jamie?" I asked and pointed to the sidewalk. "That's an gorgeous girl."

Alex sighed and looked carefully at Jamie. "I think that's Katie. He has a crush on her for over six years." He chuckled.

"Imagine someone liking you this much.." I said quietly.

"Yeah..." Alex mumbled.

"You okay Alex?" I asked worried. "Why aren't you talking? You never stay this quiet unless something is bothering you."

"I'm fine Belly." Alex said and he widened his eyes and started laughing. "I accidentally called you-"

"Fine tuna boy." I said laughing.

"Now that I think about it, it's not an bad nickname." Alex said smiling and I rolled my eyes smiling.

"Funny. Thank you for driving me home." I grinned and opened the door and quickly got out of the car.

"Bye bye Belly." Alex grinned and I started laughing and walked over to my house.

I went straight to the kitchen where mom and Dorothy were. I grabbed a slice of pizza from the counter and sat down on the sofa and looked at both of them.

"Was that Alex?" Dorothy asked and I furrowed my eyebrows.

"Yes?"

"Why are you spending so much time with him? He's my boyfriend!" Dorothy exclaimed and mom widened her eyes.

"Oh my God Dora! He's my best friend!" I said. "You know that I can't break your heart."

"Fine... But why are you two spending so much time together?" She asked and I raised my eyebrows.

"We don't." I lied.

"Arabella, what's happening between you and this boy?" My mom asked and I stood up.

"So I can't even have friends now?" I asked and walked over to the staircase.

"Bella that's not how-"

"I got it mom!" I shouted and closed the door behind me.

I sighed and got undressed and cussed when I realised that I got changed in front of my window. I quickly put on a shirt and looked outside, specifically at Alex's window. Luckily, he wasn't there.

I threw myself on the bed and stared at the ceiling. Alex's kiss hasn't left my mind one second. I shouldn't feel like this but I do.

I hardly realised that I liked Alex more than a friend.
