"I haven't been here in like 6 years." Arabella giggled as they exited the airport.
"Didn't you missed it?" Alex asked, holding her hand with one hand and with the other one he held his luggage.
"Yeah, I did. But there wasn't anything here to...Make me come back." She answered.
"I already know where to take you first. Wait, second. We need to go home to my parents first." Alex laughed and she just chuckled and nodded, feeling a knot in her stomach.
As they got in a cab they couldn't help but giggle the entire ride as they kept making silly remarks about each other. She widened her eyes as she heard the radio playing a way too familiar song.
"Can you turn the music up?" Arabella asked and the driver quickly did so.
They were playing Mardy Bum on the radio and she gasped and looked at Alex with a grin on her face, humming along the music.
"Oh my god!" She squeaked and Alex grimaced as he heard his own voice.
"I like this song, the band itself is pretty cool." The driver said and she chuckled.
"I personally don't like it, especially their frontman...bleah." Alex mumbled and she held her laughter.
"I know right? He's so annoying. But at least he writes good songs." Arabella joked.
"Good songs? Have you lived on another planet until now?" Alex asked and she just huffed a laugh.
"Oh my god I love this song so much!" She grinned, moving her head around.
By the time they arrived at Alex's parents house, the two of them and the driver had some interesting conversations. As they got out and Alex picked up their luggages they stopped on the sidewalk and just looked at each other, snowflakes in each other hair.
"I can't say that I missed this place." She shrugged, looking back at her parent's house.
"Do you wanna see them?" Alex asked and she just shook her head as a no.
"That would be worse than listening to your songs." She teased and he fake gasped and threw some snow at her. "Excuse me?"
Before she could throw some back he picked her up in his arms, kissing her. She grinned and buried her head in the crook of his neck as he hugged her tightly with a big smile on his face.
Penny and David saw the whole scene from their window but they couldn't see exactly who was the girl. They were just happy because their son seemed to be happy.
"Alright, you'll get cold. Let's head inside." Alex chuckled, kissing her nose.
"Do you think they still know me?" She asked nervously.
"Of course they do." Alex laughed, picking up both of their luggages.
"Yes, but still...What if-"
"Why are you so panicked darling?" He asked laughing, opening the door, indicating her to get in.
"I'm not." She huffed.
"Well hello- Oh my god, Bella?!" Penny exclaimed, hugging her tightly, giving Alex a look.
"Hi." She smiled shyly.
"I totally didn't recognised you! The black hair is amazing. And look at you, didn't aged a bit." Penny smiled, moving down to Alex.
"Hello darling." David smiled, giving her an welcoming hug as well.
