In that moment they both forgot all the nights they've shed tears, thinking about each other. All the pain they endured. It was all worth it in the end.

She noticed that Alex still had that glow in his eyes. The glow he had whenever he was looking at her.

"Kiss me, you bastard!" She cried as she walked towards him. "I fucking hate y-"

With a long exhale, he crashed his lips against hers, cupping her cheeks. The taste of his lips that she dearly missed was like electricity on her soft skin.

Her scent, her lips, her body, Arabella herself, made Alex's knees melt. She was here.

Pulling away to breathe, she looked at him, searching for his eyes. He desperately pulled her into his chest, wanting to make sure she was real.

"I love you. Fucking god! I love you!" She cried. "Why did you do that to me?"

"I love you more than anything in the world." He sighed, holding her gently. "I'm so sorry."

"You broke your promise." She whispered.

"I hate myself for that." He said.

"It's okay." She smiled, pulling away to look at him. His tousled hair was slightly longer, making him look younger.

"You got a septum piercing." He chuckled.

"I lost a bet and had to do it." She huffed a laugh. "Al?"

"Yes?" He asked.

"I haven't broke my promise." She said and his eyes trailed down to her neck, quietly gasping.

"I- You really w-"

"Marry me Al." She said.

"Right now?" He asked shocked.

"Yes. Only if you still want to." She smiled.

"I thought you hated me. Umm.." He mumbled.

"How could I hate you? Yes I was mad, and I'm still mad at you, but I've never hated you." She said.

With a grin plastered on his face he hugged her tightly, unclasping her necklace and carefully placing the ring in his hand.

"Are you completely sure?" He asked, cupping her cheeks.

"Are you?" She asked. He just huffed a laugh and pecked her lips.

"I'm still in shock, but..." He mumbled as he got on one knee.

"Say it." She laughed, tears falling from her eyes. He just grabbed her hand and swallowed the lump in his throat.

"Marry me belly."

"Okay." She giggled. "If you insist." She joked, making the both of them laugh.

"That wasn't supposed to be funny. Alright, I'll try again." He said. "Arabella, would you marry me?"

"Yes." She laughed as he placed the ring on her finger. "Took you long enough." She giggled.

"I love you." He grinned, picking her up in his arms, her legs wrapping around his waist as she squealed like a child.

"I still can't process what just happened but I love you with my entire heart and body and soul and I don't want anything except to be yours forever." Alex grinned in her hair.

"I missed you so much Al." She whispered, her head buried in his neck as she hugged him tightly.

"Well, this aged well." Jamie shrugged as the others were still in shock.
