56. The dream synopsis

One week later... 

"Oh my god Alex!" She gasped as she looked in the mirror.

"What happened?" He asked as he laid on the bed.

"My neck is full of marks." She giggled.

"You scared me!" He laughed.

"It's not funny!"

"Yes it is. I thought that something actually happened to you." He said.

"Excuse me?!"

"You're excused." He winked and she just laughed.

"Pick a nail polish colour." She said.

"I don't know...Black maybe?" He answered and she nodded to herself and sat down on the bed and handed him the nail polish.

"Go on, you wanted to paint my nails." She giggled and he widened his eyes and quickly sat up.

"I don't know how." He smiled.

"Just don't mess it up." She chuckled.

"Thank you so much, that helped me." He scoffed. She just pecked his lips and placed her hands on his leg.

He opened the container and looked at her terrified. She just giggled and told him to go on. He painted her nails perfectly and none of them expected it.

"Wait it's that easy?" He asked.

"Yeah, I guess. I don't know how you did it perfectly, I always mess it up." She laughed.

"Because I'm perfect." He rolled his eyes.

"Oh shut up." She said as he grabbed a strand of her wet hair, as she just got out of the shower, and smelt it.

"It smells like coconut." He remarked and she giggled.

"Sometimes you're such a baby." She said.

Alex received a call and he rolled over and picked up his phone from the nightstand, answering. Meanwhile, Arabella was shaking her hands as she wanted to dry her nails.

"Hi Josh." Alex said. "Tomorrow? Yeah sure. We're coming mhm. Sure, bye." She heard him say.

"Going where?" She asked.

"It's Joshua's daughter birthday and he invited us." Alex answered and she nodded.

"How old is she?" Arabella asked.

"I have no idea. I truly can't remember what I even ate yesterday." He laughed.

"Of course." She giggled.

"You should wear my shirts more often, they look great on you." He said and she looked down at the oversized black shirt she was wearing. "But you know what looks better on you?"

"Surprise me." She said.

"Me." He said, quickly pecking her lips.

"Oh my god Alex." She laughed.

"Did I lie though?" He slightly smirked.

"I won't answer." She shook her head.

The next day, they went to a toy shop, both grimacing as the place was full of crying babies.

"Remind me not to get you pregnant." Alex laughed, holding her hand. "Yet."

"Yet? What do you mean?" She asked.

"Don't get me wrong, I would love a mini you, but for now, I want to have you only." He giggled, kissing her head.

"What would you do if I would accidentally get pregnant?" She asked curiously.
