"Bella are you dressed? Penny, David and Alex should be here soon!" Mom shouted and I groaned.

I quickly put on a yellow dress and brushed my hair. My stomach fluttered when I heard his name. I avoided all of his messages from yesterday and today.

I was looking in the mirror and heard some noises from the window. I turned around and jumped in my spot.

"What the- How the- Why are you here?" I exclaimed.

"So this is your room.."

"Yes, Alex. Why are you in it?" I exclaimed again. "You know there's a door right? How did you even-"

"Why are you ignoring me?" Alex asked and I closed my mouth. "I'm going to break up with Dorothy. I want to be with you Belly."

"Alex, no! You can't do this." I said. "This is wrong and you know it."

"I don't!"

"Alex..." I sighed and walked towards him.

"Would a kiss be too much to ask?" Alex asked.

"Yes... Your parents should be here soon." I said.

He didn't said anything but just connected his lips with mine's. I placed my hands on both of his cheeks and pulled him closer.

"I love this feeling." Alex mumbled and pecked my lips.

"Alex just... Just go downstairs and say that you were looking for Dora if someone sees you here." I sighed.

"But-"

"Just go!" I exclaimed and he nodded and left. I sat down on the bed and started crying.

What is Alex doing to me?

I brushed away my tears after a while and walked downstairs. Penny and David arrived and everyone was at the table. All the smiles turned into a frown as soon as I stepped in and took a seat, ironically, next to Alex.

"Are you okay Bella?" Mom asked.

"Hi Penny! Hi David!" I grinned. "Yes, mom." I said and looked at Alex. "Hi Alex."

"Hi.." He mumbled.

"Aren't these two adorable?" I asked and looked back at Dora and Alex.

"Bel, stop it." Dora said and took a sip from her glass.

"I'm going to check the oven." Mom said and she stood up.

"Let me help you, Jo." Penny quickly said and she followed mom in the kitchen.

"David, let's go on the sofa, the match is about to start." Dad said and David nodded and they left as well.

Nice situation.

I cleared my throat awkwardly and poured some water in my glass. I tried to avoid Alex as much as I could and placed my hands on my thighs. Alex placed one hand in mine, under the table and my cheeks turned red. Our moms quickly came back and I looked back at him, trying to tell him to stop using my eyes.

"Oh Josephine, trust me, I never have one minute of silence. But I'm proud of them, I know that they are going to be a big band in the future." Penny said and sat up.

"Mum can you stop talking 'bout us?" Alex mumbled and Penny chuckled.

"Alex, don't be embarrassed. I agree with Penny." Mom said smiling and poured red wine in our glasses.

"Imagine you and the boys at Glastonbury, or Coachella. Or maybe at the Royal Albert hall." I said and Alex chuckled. I looked back at him and smiled, our hands still interlocked.
