24. One last time

I was walking on a crowded street, my eyes on the phone until I bumped into someone. I looked up and a grin was instantly plastered all over my face.

"Jamie?!" I exclaimed and jumped in his arms as he hugged me tightly.

"I fucking missed you!" He exclaimed and kissed my head. "It's been what? Three? Four years? You look stunning love!"

"You look so good!" I grinned and he placed me back on my feet. "I missed you so much!"

"I missed you too!" He smiled. "I can't get used to your hair. It suits you so good tho." He said smiling. "You look happy."

I nodded smiling. "I am."

Only if he knew what I planned...

"Would you like to come tonight?" He asked.

"Where?" I asked confused.

"To the album release party." He said and I sighed.

"Only for you and because I miss the boys." I giggled. "What should I wear?" I asked.

"Anything you want." He said. "Give me your number, silly." He said and handed me his phone.

I noted my number and gave him his phone. "Are you and Katie still together? Oh God, I miss her so much."

"Yeah, we are." Jamie nodded and I grinned.

"Text me the location and I'm there. Now, I have to get ready, I guess." I giggled and hugged him again.

I straightened my hair and put on a long black dress, and black heels. I looked in the mirror and sighed.

I was tired. Of everything. I was tired of life. I needed everything to stop.

I called myself a cab and quickly got in after it arrived. I told him the address Jamie texted me and I got there in about twenty minutes.

The place was full of paparazzi and I hardly got in. My eyes wandered around the place until I found Jamie. I ran over him and hugged him.

Last time I saw Jamie, besides today, was about four years ago. I needed to see someone and Jamie flew from Sheffield to New York just to see me.

"You look bloody gorgeous!" He exclaimed and I giggled.

"You look amazing. This hairstyle suits you." I said smiling. "Where is everyone?" I asked.

"Over there." He said and pointed to a small booth at the end of the club. "Are you sure you can do it?"

Was I?

"Yes. Don't worry." I nodded. "Can you order a martini for me?"

"Of course darling." He said smiling and I left.

My heart was beating out of my chest, knowing that I'll see my friends again.

I took a deep breath and walked in the small booth. Everyone turned around and their eyes widened.

"Surprise!" I giggled.

Katie gasped and quickly hugged me, as we almost fell. I held her tight in my arms and kissed her cheek.

"I'm going to cry oh my fucking God!" Katie exclaimed and hugged me again. "You look so fucking good!"

"Bella what the fuck!" Nick exclaimed and hugged me tightly as well.

"I missed you so much you little twat!" Matt grinned and pulled me into a big hug.

"You all look so good!" I grinned.
