"Hello sissy, missed me?" She asked.
"Actually, no. Absolutely not. What do you want?" Arabella asked and looked back at Alex who muttered an 'Is everything okay?' and she nodded.
"It's been four years since we last talked, I thought you were over it." Dorothy said. "First of all, I wanted to say that I'm happy for you and Alex."
"You're not." Arabella said.
"You're never gonna forgive me, are you? Is that hard to believe that I've changed?" Dorothy asked.
"Yes, actually. My life has been waaay better without you, with small exceptions." She said as she leaned on the building wall.
"I'm happy to hear that, truly. I've called you to say that...I've got engaged last month." Dorothy said.
"Engaged? Really? With who?" Arabella asked curiously.
"Um..Charlie." Dorothy said and Arabella sighed. "You know...From sch-"
"Of course...Well, I'm actually busy right now." Congratulations I guess." She said.
"Right, yeah, okay. Tell Alex I said hi. And again, I hope you'll forgive me one day." Dorothy said before the call cut.
Arabella just sighed and rested her forehead against Alex's chest. He wrapped his hands around her waist and kissed her head.
"What happened?" He asked.
"Dorothy called me. We haven't spoke in like four years." She answered. "Al?" She called before she looked up at him.
"Yes darling?"
"Would you mind if- Umm.." She mumbled.
"I don't know what you're trying to say but no." He said and she chuckled.
"I don't feel well and I wanted to see if-"
"Then we're going to the hotel." He interrupted her, and she widened her eyes as she thought that he literally read her thoughts.
"I can go on my own, you don't need to lea-"
"Come on, let's find a cab." He said before he placed a soft kiss on her lips and grabbed her hand.
"I love you Al. So much. You know that, right?" She grinned.
"I love you more than anything in the world, sweetheart." He said, cupping her cheek with his free hand.
They kissed again, both mostly grinning. They walked hand in hand, looking for a cab and once they did, they quickly got in. After Alex gave the driver the location he looked back at her and smiled.
"Are you feeling alright?" He asked and she just hummed and nodded.
"Just tired." She assured him and kissed his cheek.
Once they arrived, they stepped out of the cab and got in the hotel. As they were in the elevator they wondered what was the last floor looking like and decided to go there. They ended up on the roof where they found a big amount of grass and lots of fairy lights. The place truly looked magical.
They sat on a sofa and stared at the sky that was full of stars. She was sitting on his lap, her hands around his neck and her head placed on his shoulder.
"Al? Have you ever wondered how a hotel on the moon would look like?" She asked and he giggled.
"No, but now that you brought it up, I like the idea of a hotel on the moon." He said. "By the way, are you cold?"
"No, are you?" She asked.
"No, no, I'm okay." He nodded. "About the hotel..."
As they sat there, both drunk, talking for hours, they accidentally fell asleep in each others embrace.
