A month later, 31 October.

It was Halloween. Arabella didn't actually enjoyed it but she didn't disliked it either. She was walking around the streets in Seattle as she was in a small vacation on her own.

She didn't wanted to admit it but she was happier. She finished her therapy sessions after her therapist said that she no longer had depression. She could've feel the happiness but she didn't wanted to think that it was just because she left Alex.

Alex...She realised that she didn't thought about him in a while. She wondered where he was and if he was doing great. She sat down on a bench in front of a lake and beside a big tree, lost in her thoughts.

Do I still love him? She asked herself. Of course she loves him, she will always love him. The real question was "Do I want to be together with him?"

She took a sip from her coffee before standing up and continued walking. She got lost in her thoughts for a while, not knowing the answer to her own question.

"Alex, you should go out mate." Matt snapped him out of his thoughts. "I suppose you're not coming tonight at the party Miles is hosting."

"Nah." He shook his head as he sipped from a bottle of beer. "Is this water?"

"It's beer." Matt answered. "I think you just drank too much. You should take a break Al, it's not healthy."

"Just to let you know, I'm sober." He rolled his eyes. "I'll just go out for a walk."

And so he did, alone, on the crowded Seattle streets, not knowing that the woman he loves is this close to him.

As he walked around the town, hugging his black coat, he thought about her. He wondered what was she doing, if she moved on, if she dates someone, if she's alright, if she's happy.

"Does she still loves me?" He asked himself every single day. His answer was always no.

She was everything to him and now his entire world was shattered into pieces without her.

He sat down on a bench in front of a lake, right beside a big tree and he smelt a familiar scent but he ignored it and opened his phone, quickly smiling a bit at the sight of his background. It was a picture of him and her. He opened his instagram just to check if she posted something. That was the only thing that kept him close to her.

He knew that she posted a picture of the two of them and he scrolled down on her profile just to look at it. He saw the post with the photo booth pictures where they were kissing and she put the caption as "The photo booth is a liar". He chuckled to himself and he finally found the picture he was looking for. They were simply hugging but her smile in that picture made his heart melt every time.

He sighed and closed his phone, standing up, taking another glance at the beautiful view. "I miss you Bella." He thought before continuing walking.

He got in a bakery and spotted a ghost cookie that looked particularly tasty. He walked towards the cash register where the cookies were, his hands in his pockets.

"Can I have one of those ghost cookies?"

The two of them asked. They both recognised each others voices and they came with the conclusion that they crossed paths again.

He looked on his right to see Arabella. He gasped a bit, not breaking their eye contact. Her eyes were no longer red and puffy. In fact, she looked full of live. She looked at him, absolutely shocked. She turned her gaze to the lady at the cash register and straightened her back.
