- Lola's POV -
I struggled into the women's bathroom in my huge black heels while holding onto the walls that were in reach. I'm sure if anyone was in here they would think I was drunk, but there wasn't so I felt a rush of relief flow through me.
I walked up to the mirror and sighed. We have been out so long that my make up was starting to melt off my face, great. As this was a 'special occasion' I decided to wear a lot of make up and wear a slutty short dress like my friends did, I'm never anything like this.
I don't wear a lot of make up usually, just a bit of mascara so I don't look like a zombie.
I leaned closer to the mirror to check my eye make up and hair. My long brown hair was curling and my Hazel coloured eyes looked tired as hell. I really wanted to go home.
I stood up straight and fixed my black glittery dress, then headed back out to the bar where Lilah was seated. I opened the bathroom door and glanced out into the crowds of people until Lilah caught my eye. She was talking to a bar man I presumed.
I made my way through the sweaty drunken men and finally got to Lilah.
"Can we please leave now?!" I said loudly while looking down at Lilah, not realising she was still talking to the bar man.
"Why do you want to leave in such a hurry?" He said in a very posh English accent. I looked up at him and my eyes widened.
He stared at me for a moment waiting for an answer but I couldn't speak. He had those type of eyes that just drew you in and you couldn't escape. They made you feel safe or at home. He had a huge brown beard upon his face, the same colour has his clean cut hair.
"Lola? Speak?" Lilah said a minute after. I jumped back quickly as I awoke from my thoughts, I could feel my cheeks going strawberry red like they always do.
"Yeah, Umm we need to go. Bye!" I shouted before grabbing Lilah by the wrist and dragging her out of the bar.
Woah, who was that guy.
"What're you doing?" Lilah said as soon as we were outside in the dark again. She stared at me and grinned widely.
"You liked that bar man, didn't you?" She said with a huge drunken smirk on her face. I laughed nervously and shook my head.
"Oh Lilah, you're so silly! You know me, I don't need love.. or a man" I said with reassurance in my voice. She rolled her eyes and linked arms with me.
"We really need to call a taxi.." She whispered as we slowly walked down the street. I nodded and took out my phone to call for one.
A few minutes later the taxi arrived and we both got into the back seat. The taxi dropped us off at Lilah's house and then I walked on home from there.
"Rest up Lilah! You'll be feeling like crap in the morning!" I shouted as she walked into her house. Then I walked slowly home.
I began to think about the bar man again, I wonder what his name is. I wonder what type of music he likes, or if he has any pets, or what he looks like when he's laughing. Ugh.
I finally arrived home, pulling out my keys and entering the front door. It was 3:00am and my parents told me to be back by 1:00am.
I slowly took off my high heels and tip toed up to my bedroom while holding my breath. If they find out I got home late I'm going to be in huge trouble.
I got to my bedroom and closed the door quietly before slipping off my dress and jumping into bed.
I wonder what he is doing right now.
