- Lilah's POV -
The next morning I awoke to the sound of my front door being knocked loudly repeatedly. I jumped out of bed and hurried down the stairs, glancing into the living room quickly to see Lola and Joseph still fast asleep on my sofa.
I made my way to the door and unlocked it to see Lola's angry mother staring at me.
"WHERE IS LOLA" She screamed loudly in my face, what a nice morning this is going to be.
"What do you mean?" I questioned nervously. I'm sure Lola was awake now as her mother just deafened my ears.
"She's gone. I don't know where she went I can't find her anywhere" She explained with fear in her eyes. I sighed quietly.
"Why would she have left the house?" I felt bad for trying to make her feel guilty but it is her fault that Lola walked out. I don't blame her for doing so.
- Lola's POV -
"Joseph wake up!!" I whispered in panic while shaking him awake violently. He jumped up and looked at me, still half asleep.
"My mum is at the front door! If she sees me here with you I'm going to get killed!" I said quickly, Joseph looked worried but he didn't say anything. He got up from the sofa and peeked through the curtains.
"Lilah is trying to stall her" He whispered.
"Maybe we can sneak out the back door?" Joseph brought up an idea, it was a good one. I nodded while thinking of how to get to the back door without being seen.
We gathered up our things and opened the living room door slowly which made a huge creaking noise.
"What was that?!" My mum said to Lilah at the front door.
"It's just the draft!" Lilah shouted nervously.
- Lilah's POV -
Where were Lola and Joseph going?!? Did they want to get caught?!
I closed the front door slightly so that Lola's mum could only see me and not the rest of the house. She kept trying to peek over my shoulder but I wouldn't let her.
"There seems to be a lot of noise coming from your house" She said suspiciously, I shook my head quickly and laughed.
"That's just your old age showing!" I said AS A JOKE. She stared at me with disgust and I bit my lip knowing I had said exactly the wrong thing.
"Oh let me in!" She shouted before pushing passed me and entering my house. Shit.
"Excuse me? I didn't let you come in" I said angrily, but she was ignoring me. She's going to go into the living room! I jumped in front of her before she did and she glanced me up and down.
"Why can't I go in here?" She asked. I shrugged my shoulders and glanced around the hall. Lola's mum unexpectedly pushed right through me which made the door open and me fall on to the sofa.
"Why are there duvets in here?"
Lola and Joseph were gone..
"I WAS SLEEPING HERE LAST NIGHT. FUCK SAKE" I screamed loudly. She was clearly offended with my tone and language but I didn't care.
I grabbed her by the shoulder and pushed her out of my house.
"Have a shit day now!" I said with an sarcastic smile before slamming the door.
How does Lola deal with her?
- Lola's POV -
Me and Joseph sat outside in Lilah's back garden shivering in our pyjamas. It was really cold outside.
Joseph kissed me on the cheek and smiled brightly at me, I giggled and turned to face him.
"What was that for?" I asked.
"You look really cute in the morning" He admitted with red cheeks, I hugged him tightly starting to feel warm again.
"So do you if I might add"
"I just realised something.." Joseph said before sitting up, I stared at him confusingly.
"What is it?" I asked, he didn't answer though. He was thinking by the looks of it.
Joseph then turned to face me with a huge smile on his face, he took my hand in his and pulled me close.
"Will you be my girlfriend?" He asked happily. A huge smile appeared on my face and I nodded quickly.
"O-okay" I blushed like crazy.
"You're suppose to say yes!" He shouted while laughing.
"Yes! Yes yes yes" I said before he kissed me lovingly.
What a nice place to get asked out, in a cold garden at 9:30am.
