- Lola's POV -

The sound of your alarm on a Monday morning is the worst possible thing ever. I groaned loudly and threw my pillow to the other side of the room.

I want to go back to sleep.

I am studying child care in college and I really love it. It's probably the first time I've enjoyed learning.

I got up and put on my outfit for the day. A large baggy grey jumper, black leggings and black boots. Then I tied my hair up like I always do and put on some mascara (when I say some I mean a lot..).

"Are you going to have any breakfast before you go get your train?" My mum said when I entered the living room. I shook my head and grabbed a packet of crisps.

"I'll be fine" I smiled before lifting my bag and heading out the front door. It was a cold day so I wore my huge winter coat.

Lilah caught up with me as I walked for my train. We don't go to the same college though, she has to get another train as her college is further away.

Lilah is doing art in college and she is amazing at it. I always admire the paintings that she has stacked up in the corner of her bedroom.

We both got to the train station and said our goodbyes before getting on two different trains. They're always extremely cramped. Sometimes I can't even get a seat and I'm forced to stand in between really tall people, I'm really small by the way.

I look like a 13 year old and it's not a blessing.

After 15 minutes of being pushed around on a crowded train it had finally came my turn to get off. I hurried off the train and down the busy streets to where my college was. I felt excited for the day ahead.

As I was sitting in class I got a text from Lilah;

"Hey Lo, I have a surprise for you. When you're done with college for today can you go to Baker Street? It's not far from your college. You'll find out why when you get there.

Enjoy! X"

I stared at the message for a few minutes in confusion. What is this weirdo up to?

I decided not to answer and just take her word for it. As I thought about the text message Ruby sat down beside me, she is also studying child care.

"Are you okay?" She asked. I stared at her blankly for a minute.

"Do you know what Lilah is up to? She just told me to go to this address later" I asked while holding my phone up to Ruby. She shook her head.

"Hey wait a minute.." She mumbled before grabbing my phone and looking at the message again.

"That's the street next to the restaurant we went to on Saturday.." She said. The teacher interrupted us and began to teach the lesson, but I was still so confused.

Why does she want me to go there?

Class ended and I said bye to Ruby and began to walk to the street Lilah told me to go to. I was nervous, so I called her.

"What are you up to!?" I said loudly, she giggled down the phone.

"Just go there right now! You'll thank me!!" She shouted before hanging up, I sighed loudly and continued walking.

I finally reached the suspicious Baker Street. I stopped walking and glanced around for something that might give me a clue to why I'm here. But then I realised something.

In the corner of the street sat a bar named 'The Black Swan'. Isn't that the place Lilah dragged me into on Saturday night?

My jaw dropped as I walked closer to the bar almost in a trance. The bar man works here..

I got to the huge doors and took a breath in. He better be working today..
