- Lola's POV -

I was excited to go back to college the next day, I missed it while being off.

I got dressed quickly and put a cute little pink ribbon in my hair, I'm such a child. I'd rather like to feel cute than sexy.

My head was feeling better but I still had to keep the stitches in..

After getting ready I made my way to the kitchen to have a bowl of cereal, I joined my dad at the dining table as he ate his toast.

"Get excited for tonight Lola, we are having a party!" My mum shouted happily while rushing around the living room. I was slightly confused.

"Wait, what?"

"It's Carly's birthday today so we're all going to have a surprise party for her here" My mum explained. Carly is one of her good friends, they're very close.

Everyone is coming to this surprise birthday party, basically every person that doesn't like me. I'll have to lock my bedroom..

I got my bag and left the house to get the train, I'm feeling slightly worried about this party.

Carly has two daughters, Leah and Stephanie. Stephanie is only 14 and she's lovely but Leah is a different story.. When I was at school Leah was in my class, she was the 'popular' 'perfect' girl who everyone was obsessed with. I really didn't like her.

She will definitely be at the party tonight and I don't think I'm ready to face her, I still look like a 12 year old.

- Joseph's POV -

After everything that had happened with my dad I finally got my job back. The bar has got more popular than it ever was and my dad is pleased.

It was 1:30pm and I was cleaning the tables in the bar when I heard the door opening.

"Hi Joseph" A sweet voice said behind me, I turned around to see Lola smiling brightly.

"Good afternoon!" I shouted before lifting her up slightly and giving her a huge hug, she giggled.

"How are you?" Lola asked while setting her bag down on the table and taking a seat. I sat opposite from her.

"I'm great! What about you? How is your head feeling?" I questioned as I stared at the tiny stitches on her head.

"It's fine, stop worrying" She rolled her eyes at me. A few other people entered the bar and walked towards the counter, I didn't want to get up and leave Lola though.

I just sat silently watching her as she glanced around the room, totally unaware of me falling in love with her. Wait, did I just say that? She began to hum a tune until she noticed I was looking at her, she covered her face with both her hands and giggled.

"Why are you staring at me!" She shouted, I could tell that her cheeks were red. They always do that.

"No reason" I said quietly with a huge smile.

"Joseph, there's costumers here!" My dad suddenly shouted from behind the bar, I sighed loudly and got up from the table.

"I'll see you later okay?" I said before hugging Lola one last time. She nodded.

"See you then"
