- Lola's POV -

I stepped onto Baker Street and headed for The Black Swan once again. It's a new week and I was feeling confident. I held my head high and smiled widely as I walked into the bar.

The strange thing was, that it was completely empty. There wasn't a person in sight, the radio wasn't even on! Something wasn't right.

"Hello?" I shouted slightly while glancing around. Then I heard thumping like someone was running down the stairs and then suddenly Joseph appeared.

"Hey there. Sorry we're in a bit of a rough patch at the moment and I'm not suppose to be working. Could you leave please?" He asked politely. The confidence in me disappeared.

"What do you mean a rough patch? You guys were fine a few days ago" I said avoiding the question.

"Let's just say I caused a fight and ruined a lot of things.." He said walking around the bar and sitting on the closest barstool.

"Yeah.. I know" I said quietly. He spun himself around and looked at me.

"What do you mean you know?"

"I was here on Saturday?" I said trying to hint that I was the one who was looking after him. Maybe he has forgotten all about me.

He squinted his eyes while looking over at me for a minute, I felt so awkward. Now I know how he felt when I was daydreaming into his perfect face.

He suddenly gasped and jumped off the barstool and began to approach me, my heart started to beat really fast. As soon as he got close he looked surprised like something had came to his mind.

"It was you.." He whispered to himself.

"Me? What?" I asked louder than him. I felt like I was being studied or examined because of how much he was looking me up and down.

"You! You have the strawberry smelling perfume that was on my clothes yesterday!" He shouted before clapping his hands like he was proud of himself for figuring that out. I may as well tell him what happened.

"Well yeah. You were really upset and asked for a hug, so I gave you one" I giggled nervously, he smiled.

- Joseph's POV -

I knew there was another girl involved in Saturday night, but not in the way Calum intended. All she wanted to do was help me and I felt grateful.

"Thank you for trying to look after me, I'm sure I was tough" I said while rolling my eyes. She shrugged her shoulders.

"You weren't that bad"

This girl was small, really small in fact. She was really cute. She had long brown hair which covered some of her face and her eyes were the most prettiest colours ever. It was really weird that I felt this all of a sudden, she was just stood there with a huge smile spread across her face like she was happy to be around me. No one is ever like that..

"What's your name?" I asked as I gazed into her eyes, her cheeks went red.

"Lola.. And you're Joseph yeah?" She said while awkwardly holding out her hand. I nodded and shook it.

"I hope your bar gets back into shape" Lola said sympathetically as she walked towards the door.

"Me too, it should soon"

"Yeah, I'll see you around Joseph" She said while exciting the bar, but then I had to be an embarrassing twat and..

"Wait!" I shouted before I could stop myself. I ran out of the bar, she stopped walking and turned to face me.

"When will you be back?" I asked with a smile, she smiled back at me and paused for a moment. God, that smile.

"Tomorrow?"

"Sounds good, I'll see you then Lola" I said happily as she walked the opposite direction.

Wow, I just got over Stephanie fast.
