- Lilah's POV -
I sat at Lola's front door like I do every Sunday afternoon waiting for her to come back from church. I didn't remember much from last night, except from Lola running out of the bar. I feel like I've messed up again.
A car pulled up into the drive way and out came Lola, her mum and her dad. Her parents walked straight passed me and didn't even give me a smile or a glance, probably because I look like a tramp today.
"Lola I'm so sorry about last night" I whispered as soon as her parents were inside, she stared at me.
"Why are you saying sorry? Last night was great!" Lola shouted happily. I was really confused.
"Wait what?"
"Joseph had a fight with his girlfriend and I sat outside with him for a while. Anxiety didn't even exist last night!" She said with enthusiasm. I was surprised, I hugged her tightly.
"Oh my god I'm so proud of you! The next step will be close friends and then relationship!!" I said while clapping my hands with excitement.
"Wow don't get too excited. He just broke up with somebody it's going to take him a while before he can date again" Lola said sadly, I rolled my eyes.
"Not when he sees how perfect and amazing my Lo is!"
- Joseph's POV -
After Calum left I decided to have a shower and get ready for work. As I was walking down the stairs which led to the bar my dad stopped me.
"Where do you think you're going?" He asked with his arms crossed.
"To work? Like I do everyday?" I said confusingly. He shook his head and began to push me back up the stairs.
"Your little incident with Stephanie last night lost us a lot of costumers, I want you to take a week off so this story goes away. We're the laughing stock of the town!" He said angrily.
"What? Are you kidding! Dad I need money" I said desperately, but he wouldn't listen.
"Maybe you should've thought of that before you got drunk and started fights" He shouted while he walked back down the stairs and into the bar. I sighed loudly and threw myself on to the sofa.
- Lola's POV -
"So.. Do I go to the bar tomorrow?" I asked Lilah as we both lay on my bedroom floor.
"Yes, definitely! He probably wants to find the angel who rescued him from that blonde bitch" Lilah laughed, I shushed her.
"My parents already hate you enough, if they heard you using bad language you wouldn't be able to come back!" I said seriously.
"Oh well.."
"So, I go to the bar tomorrow.." I whispered, Lilah sat up and nodded.
"And you better tell me everything that happens. Everything!" She shouted, I laughed and shook my head.
"Nothing important will happen yet Lil, but if it does I will tell you" I said reassuringly. She smiled widely at me before jumping up and glancing out my bedroom window.
"How many times a day do you think of him?" She asked while she looked out the window. I thought for a moment.
"Once. Because I wake up and think of him and then it never stops until I go to sleep" I said as my cheeks changed to its usual strawberry colour.
"When you see him, how do you feel?"
"I get butterflies and my heart beats really fast. Sometimes I can't even think straight"
Lilah turned around and smirked at me.
"He is definitely the one"
