- Lola's POV -
It was the next day and I had left college and was heading to the bar where Joseph works. My heart was beating like crazy.
It was 3:30pm, I prayed that he was working today.
I got to the huge double doors again, taking a breath in and entering the bar. Here we go.
I glanced around like I did the day before. The bar was completely empty except for one old man who was watching the football on the tv which hung on the wall. I smiled slightly and sat in the right hand corner of the bar on the comfy sofas.
I pulled out my phone and began to scroll through Instagram, looking at all the cool things everyone had been getting up to. Lilah had posted a picture of her and her boyfriend, they looked so happy together.
Lilah has been with her boyfriend for 4 years now and they're the sweetest couple ever. He makes her so happy and that makes me incredibly happy too, I feel like they're going to be together forever. I sighed happily while looking through the cute pictures of them before hearing something.
"Excuse me?" A familiar posh voice said. I looked up from my phone to see the perfection standing right in front of me. My hands started to shake like they always do and I smiled nervously at him.
"What would you like to drink?" He asked before smiling. God, that smile.
"Just an orange juice.." I said quietly before looking away. I need to make conversation with him, but I don't know how.
Moments later he returned with the orange juice, he set it on the table then looked at me.
"S-so.." I muttered, he stood there waiting for me to continue speaking.
"How long have you worked in a bar for?" I asked while sipping my orange juice.
"Oh. My dad owns this place, so I got a job quite easily. I've been working here for about four years now" He said. I wasn't even listening to a word he said, I was too busy staring at how fucking perfect everything about him was.
"Hello?" He said a minute later as I didn't reply. My cheeks went red, he must think I'm an idiot.
"Sorry. Just daydreaming" I chuckled, he nodded.
"Well I should get back to the bar. Enjoy your orange juice.." He said awkwardly before walking away. I hated myself so much in that moment.
I grabbed my bag and left quickly. I'm such an embarrassment, Lilah is going to hate me for this.
She was expecting a wedding next week if I'm honest.
As you can tell I'm not great with boys. I don't really have that much experience at all. I have only had two real relationships in my whole life and they weren't so great, one of them scarred me from ever dating anyone again. But oh well, life goes on.
Life doesn't go on when you embarrass the hottest fucking boy you have ever laid eyes on though. I'm so stupid!
I texted my dad and asked him to pick me up on Baker Street, I didn't feel like getting the train. I wanted to hide in my bedroom in embarrassment.
He definitely hates me now.
