- Lola's POV -
I slammed the front door by accident as I entered the house, my mum ran around the corner from the kitchen. She instantly had a shocked look on her face as soon as she saw my head, I didn't even know if it looked bad.
"Lola! What's happened to you?!" She said worryingly while grabbing my arm and making me sit down in the living room.
"I uh.. I tripped when I was walking around Ruby's house, I hit my head on the book shelves" I lied, I was shaking slightly in case she didn't believe me.
"Stay here a minute hunny, don't move okay?" My mum said before running into the kitchen and grabbing her first aid kit, great.
She opened the small green box and pulled out some weird tissue and dabbed my head, I yelped slightly in pain.
"Lola, I think you might need stitches" She said while studying my face, I suddenly began to panic. I don't want to go to a hospital, no!
"It's probably not even that bad" I said with a nervous laugh. Mum lifted a small mirror from her hand bag and held it in front of my face. I looked in it to see a huge cut on my hair line and stained blood on my forehead. Okay, it's bad.
"I don't want to go to hospital mum" I pleaded, she frowned at me.
"We have to, come on" My mum said as she walked towards the door, she was so calm about this now. I followed her while taking a mini panic attack. I couldn't breathe properly.
We got to the car and drove out of the drive way, fuck my life.
                              "Mum is this necessary.."
"Do you want it to get infected? That'll make everything worse" She admitted while staring across the car at me. I shook my head quickly which made me dizzy.
My mum dragged me out of the car and we walked into A&E. I was in panic mode now.
All around me were people sick and in pain, I really don't like it here.
We walked up to the desk and the woman gave us a waiting number, is this seriously how hospitals are run?
Mum sat down at the back of the room and I took a seat beside her, my head was starting to feel worse.
I grabbed my phone and texted Joseph.
                              - Joseph's POV -
It was only 7:30pm but I decided to take a nap, or try to. All I did was lay in bed and think about Lola, I couldn't stop. She was the only thing that was on my mind.
Yes with worry, I was worried about what happened to her today and if she was alright. But the other half was just pure love and affection towards her. I've only known her for one week! I don't understand this..
I don't feel emotion, well I do sometimes but not like this. This isn't suppose to happen to me.
Suddenly my phone vibrated and it was a text message from Lola.
"Hey Joseph, just letting you know my mum forced me to come to the hospital to get stitches and I'm very scared. I never really go to hospitals.. X"
Should I go see her? I know this isn't a serious injury but I care a lot. It's partly my fault she hurt herself in the first place, I should've climbed down first.
The hospital is only a 15 minute drive, I grabbed my keys and ran out the door.
