- Lola's POV -

Dave dropped me off home after Lilah screamed and shouted at me the whole way home.

It started with

"OH MY GOD YOU ARE SO CUTE TOGETHER!!"

Then ended up as

"I will be your bridesmaid at the wedding. Okay?"

I really do love my best friend..

When I got home I opened the door with a huge dazed smile upon my face.

"Lola! Where did you go!" My mum shouted angrily at me. I snapped out of my fantasies and stared at her.

"I had to go to Ruby's house.. to finish of college work" I lied with a nervous smile. She raised an eyebrow and sighed loudly.

"Callum was really upset that you left!"

"Mum, I don't like Callum" I admitted with a straight face, she seemed shocked.

"What! Callum is a lovely boy and I think you would make a lovely couple" She smiled to herself. I rolled my eyes and walked passed her, running upstairs.

As soon as I was alone my mind wandered off to Joseph again, ugh. He is actually more amazing than I imagined. He's so gentle and lovely, help.

I walked in circles around my room while I daydreamed, until my eyes caught my reflection in the mirror. I realised I was still wearing Joseph's jumper!

I glanced down at myself in shock then began to laugh, it smelt like heaven. I wrapped my arms around myself like I was hugging the hoodie. I never want to take this off.

I jumped onto my bed and sighed happily, who knew a stranger could make me feel this way. Without any thought I put my hands into the front pocket of the hoodie, suddenly grabbing something. I sat up and pulled a piece of paper out of the pocket with my right hand, it was crumpled up. I flattened out the page and read what it said.

'You should call me as soon as you read this, Joseph- 09746548647'

HIS NUMBER WAS THERE.
HIS NUMBER.

I HAD JOSEPH'S NUMBER.

I screeched excitedly and grabbed my phone to save him as a contact then I texted Lilah and told her what just happened. Should I call him though?

- Joseph's POV -

I sat in the darkness of my kitchen at 1:00am with a glass of orange juice. What a productive day I had.

With dad not letting me work behind the bar I'm loosing a lot of money and I'm starting to worry. What if I don't get my job back?

I took a sip of orange juice then thought about other things.. Lola.

Lola is really different, she's different from anyone I have ever met before. She's really shy but I can tell she's not always like that, I love it.

I smiled to myself and leaned back in my uncomfortable wooden chair, I wonder if she got the message in my hoodie pocket?

I grabbed my phone and checked my notifications to find no messages or missed calls. Wow, now I'm really craving the sound of her voice.

What is wrong with me?!
