- Lola's POV -
The rest of the week was quiet. I didn't text or call Lilah much as I was too embarrassed and I never visited the bar.
Then Saturday came..
I woke up earlier than I usually would on a Saturday, because Philip was coming today. I hadn't seen him in months because he was never allowed to stay in my own home and his parents didn't like that. I don't think his parents like me because of my parents shitty rules and life style. My phone began to beep loudly as I was getting a call;
"Hey Lo! It's me Philp! I'm in town now, I'll meet you at the motel soon?" He said happily. I jumped up and down with excitement.
"Yes okay! I can't wait to see you!"
"Me too, see you later!"
- Lilah's POV -
As soon as I got up I called Dave, my boyfriend.
"We are going to a bar tonight" I said as soon as he picked up.
"Excuse me? Do I get a say in this?" He said sarcastically.
"No. Philip and Lola are coming too. I need to mend something I sort of ruined" I sighed, Dave decided to come. Now it was just getting Lola to agree, but after what she saw I don't know if she will want to go back..
I ran out my front door as I saw Lola walking down the street.
"Lola!" I shouted, she turned around and saw me. She didn't react or do anything but she waited until I had approached her.
"Guess what we're doing tonight!!" I said while awkwardly dancing around her, she was grumpy like always.
"We?"
"Yes we. Me, you, Dave and Philip" I said with a smile. She stared at me waiting for an explanation.
"We're going to The Black Swan!" I shouted following a cheer, she started to laugh.
"Really? Are you really going to take my back there after everything that happened on Tuesday night?" She asked angrily, I nodded slowly.
"Yes. Because I know how to fix it"
"What about Philip? Does he know about this?"
"He told me that you talk about Joseph a lot to him, so yes he knows. And he is coming" I said with a smirk.
"Look, if the plan doesn't work then we will never go back to that bar again. Okay?" I said reassuringly. Lola sighed and looked down.
"But what if I want to go again, maybe what I saw was a mistake or.."
She really does like this guy. She never falls for boys, she's been hurt too much that she avoids them at all costs but this is different. She never wants to be away from Joseph and it makes me emotional. This is the way I was before me and Dave were a thing.
"I promise that I will fix this" I said quietly before hugging her.
"I hope so"
- Lola's POV -
I was now feeling every emotion under the sun. I was walking into town to meet Philip outside the motel he was staying in over night. I brought the clothes I was going to wear tonight and Lilah and Dave were going to meet us later in the night. I was so nervous.
"Lo!" I heard a scream coming from behind me and moments later I was jumping into Philips arms with excitement.
"Hi!!!"
"Hey you!"
We giggled and talked about life for over two hours after that. He was definitely one of my best friends.
The motel was terrible looking on the outside, but decent on the inside. Philip was staying on the 3rd floor, I helped to carry all his luggage to the lift.
"Why do you need three bags, you're staying for one night!" I laughed as I pushed the heavy bags into the lift. Philip pushed the level 3 button and we waited.
"It takes a lot to look this fabulous!" He said before striking a pose, I giggled and nodded in agreement.
For the next hour we began to get ready for our night out, I felt more nervous every minute that went on.
I chose my favourite outfit to wear to the bar tonight, my Ying yang shirt with black disco pants and black creepers. I was feeling good.
Philip wore his pink checkered shirt, black skinnies and black vans.
After we were ready there was a knock on Philips room door and it was Lilah and Dave. Looking like relationship goals as always.
Lilah was in a cute pink body suit with her usual huge black heels. While Dave was wearing a buttoned up white shirt with smart trousers and converse.
"We all look hot as hell.." Philip admitted, we all laughed together. I grabbed Lilah and pulled her into the bathroom before we left.
"So what's your plan?" I asked anxiously. She smirked.
"Just be you. Just look fabulous and beautiful and he will definitely notice. Okay?" She said with a huge smile, I hugged her and nodded.
"It's now or never I guess"
