- Lola's POV -
It was almost midnight now and I was craving Joseph's hugs. I think I'm addicted to them.
Me and Lilah sat in her living room for hours talking about the past and things we used to do when we were little, it was quite sweet really.
I sighed loudly and threw myself on to the seat beside Lilah, she chuckled.
"What's so funny?" I asked while sitting up properly.
"You. Why don't you just call him?" She shouted with a smile.
"I can't. Mum took my phone"
"I would suggest that we go to his bar but I have no energy to do so" She said, I raised my eyebrows.
"That's a start, you're always so excited to get drunk!" I shouted. Lilah pushed me playfully and I fell off the sofa.
"Hey, what just fell out of your pocket?" She asked before sitting down on the floor beside me and lifting up a small piece of paper. I gasped loudly and began to jump around.
"It's Joseph's number from the night he gave me it!!" I shouted in excitement. I grabbed Lilah's phone and dialled the number.
"Hello?" Joseph said when he answered. Hearing his voice brought a huge smile to my face.
"Joseph! It's me! Lola!" I shouted happily.
"Oh my god, Lola. Where are you?"
"I'm at Lilah's house, she got me out of my bedroom" I explained.
"Can I come to you? I need to see you" He said with desperation in his voice, my heart began to thump.
"Lilah just lives at the bottom of my street, I'll wait outside for you" I said with a smile, Lilah stared at me from the other side of the sofa with a shocked expression.
"I'll see you soon angel" He said before hanging up the call. HE JUST CALLED ME ANGEL, HELP ME.
"HE IS COMING" I screamed while jumping around happily, Lilah joined me.
"He is so cute! Oh my god" She shouted, I nodded in agreement.
I put on a pair of Lilah's old trainers and stood outside in the dark waiting for Joseph's car to pull up. Lilah stood at the front door with a huge blanket around her.
"Are you really going to stay like that when he gets here?" I said looking back at Lilah while laughing. She looked like she was wearing a huge cape.
Suddenly car lights appeared at the bottom of the street, this has to be him!
The car stopped a few houses down from were Lilah's house was. Then somebody got out of the car.
"Lola!" Joseph shouted as he ran across the street. When he approached me he lifted me up and kissed me once again, I got all of the same feelings I got earlier that night when we kissed for the first time.
"I missed you" He whispered, I giggled nervously and hugged him tight.
"I think I missed you more"
I could tell he noticed that I was wearing his jumper, he laughed at how big it was on me.
"Joseph! Nice to properly meet you.. I'm Lilah" Lilah said while walking up to him, she shook his hand and he smiled awkwardly at her.
"Can he come inside the house. It's too cold out here" I asked, Lilah laughed then turned to walk into the house.
"Who do you think I am? Your mother? Of course he is aloud!" She shouted sarcastically. Joseph took my hand and followed me into the warmth of Lilah's home.
- Joseph's POV -
"What're you going to do about your mum?" I asked Lola as we sat in Lilah's living room. It was nice and warm in her house. Lola sighed slightly.
"I don't know, why wont she just leave me be?" She asked with a frown, I hugged her and shrugged.
"She's looking out for you, that's what mums do I guess.." I said. Lola didn't answer, she rested her head on my chest and curled up into a ball.
"I hope you don't mind me going to sleep on you" She said a moment later, I laughed.
"Of course not, good night Lola" I whispered while putting the fluffy blanket around her.
"Night Joseph"
