- Lola's POV -
My mother has just ruined my life.
I just achieved what I have been dreaming of for months, a kiss from Joseph. I feel like it's love, it is love.
I have experienced some forms of love before, like that one time when I was 14 a guy I was friends with kissed me at the bottom of the slide in the park. Or that other time when I went to a party and saw the hottest human being ever and he smiled at me.
Okay maybe I haven't experienced love...
My mum pushed me into my bedroom and locked the door, is she serious!?
"You can't do this to me!" I screamed while kicking the door angrily. This has to be child abuse.
I searched my pockets for my phone then remembered that she had took it earlier, fuck!
I ran to my bedroom window and opened it seeing Joseph's car still parked outside my house.
"Joseph!" I shouted loudly. Suddenly he appeared from behind the trees in my garden, he walked across the grass and over to where my bedroom window was.
"Lola, what are we going to do?" He said in a low tone, he had a frown on his face. I just wanted to hug him.
"I'm so sorry. I hate my parents" I said with a sigh.
"I really love you.." Joseph said, for once his cheeks went red just like mine. I smiled widely.
"I love you too"
"We'll work this out. Okay?" I said confidently, he nodded and glanced around.
"What are you still doing here!?" I heard my mums voice shout from the front door. I slammed my window quickly and hid.
"Sorry, just leaving now" Joseph said, she closed the door and he made his way to his car.
I looked out the window and waved at him, he waved back then drove away.
- Joseph's POV -
It must be hard having parents who don't let you do what you want, I wouldn't be able to deal with that.
I'm not letting go this easily, I don't think I ever will.
I've never felt this way about anybody before. I've had plenty of girlfriends but somehow Lola doesn't compare to them and she's not even mine.
I drove back home and entered the bar, it was crowded as usual.
"Joseph! You're back! Where have you been?" One of my friends asked, I walked up to them.
"Oh you know.. Just out for a drive" I lied. I got myself a pint and sat down with them, feeling happy but sad at the same time.
That's weird.
This was the only night in the week I wasn't working and I really wanted to spend it with Lola, but plans get ruined by annoying parents. Parents ruin everything.
"Hey Joseph, you should look over there.." Someone said as they pointed to the door. I glanced over to see Stephanie staring at me.
"Joseph!" She shouted with a smile as she began to approach the table. Oh god.
