Meme had been shocked at what he'd seen when he eventually went into the room. Laff had shown many clips of Socks dying, and it hurt. Of course Meme didn't believe that Socks was the person anymore, but he didn't want Socks getting hurt. So he had to keep playing this same old game, and it sucked.

"Well? What do youse think now, gentlemen?" Laff asked. Meme shifted uncomfortably. Here was the worst part of his plan that he'd made last night.

'It's going to protect Socks. I have to remember that.' Meme reminded himself. Taking a deep breath, he followed through with his group's plan.

"I want to have a court date. I want to see everyone's evidence, and have someone else make the verdict." Meme announced.

He couldn't look at Socks. Meme knew that if he did, he'd see the hurt, anger, and surprise on Socks face, and he couldn't deal with that right now. He just had to see this through. If they got the court date, and could somehow get the judge to clear Socks, then it would be safe to talk to Socks and act like he was innocent again.

"Okay, we can make that happen. Say...the day after today?" Laff suggested.

"I'll be there." Socks muttered. Angrily getting up and basically storming out of the room. Meme winced. He knew that Socks was feeling hurt and betrayed, because he'd probably thought that they'd come to a understanding last night.

Meme sighed, and looking apologetically at Laff, left. He wasn't going to allow Laff the opportunity to talk to him about Nadwe or anything else. Meme just wanted to go home and let everything out to TBH. It had been a stressful day.

As he neared the house, Meme couldn't escape the feeling that something was wrong. He felt it in his bones. Picking up the speed, he made it back to the house.

"NADWE! NADWE! I'M HOME!" Meme shouted, shutting the door as he walked inside. There was no response. Meme's eyes narrowed. "Nadwe if you're playing some sick joke, I swear to god." Meme hissed as he walked up the stairs to Nadwes room.

                                        It was empty.

This couldn't be good. If he wasn't in his room then he wouldn't be anywhere else in the house, because Nadwe had been holing himself up in his room ever since he'd become a vampire.

"Meme?" A voice sounded. Meme's sighed in relief. He went downstairs and answered the front door. To his disappointment, it was Muffin.

"Muffin? What are you doing here?" Meme asked, confused.

"I was looking for Nadwe. One of his hats fell off his head apparently on the way home. I found it on the trail." Muffin explained.

"Okay, something is really wrong here. Nadwe apparently never made it home, because he's not here." Meme realized. As he realized this, a dark feeling he thought he'd never know come over him.

'My son is missing. This cannot be happening.' Meme thought desperately. Seeming to sense the inner panic and sorrow, Muffin gave him a worried look.

"There's only one person I think who would do something like this...Somebody who would hate the fact that Nadwes a vampire." Muffin hinted.

"That's impossible I just left from seeing him and Socks. He can't teleport. Hell, he has no powers, just like you and me, Muffin!" Meme told him, exasperated.

"I still think you should check." Muffin insisted stubbornly. Meme rolled his eyes.

"I guess he really is the only one would hate Nadwe that much right now to kidnap him...Oh god I just hope he's okay." Meme conceded.

"I'll come with you." Muffin told him. Meme sighed, allowing it. He needed all the help he could get. Even if it was a fourteen year old child, who somehow got away with less teasing about his age than Nadwe did.

The duo left the house, and made their way to Laffs farm. It was kind of creepy, being there at night. Meme knocked on that door a little bit nervously. Was Laff even here? Even if he was, there was no guarantee that Nadwe was being held here. He could be at the church, or even the counseling center.

"Heyyyy Meme!" Laff greeted. Meme steeled himself, and narrowed his eyes as he decided to be brief.

"Laff, where's Nadwe." Meme questioned in a dangerously low voice, eyes flashing a bright shade of blue.

Laffs eyes darkened, and his friendly smile dropped. He dragged Meme and Muffin in, shutting the door behind them. Meme stood protectively in front of Muffin, just in case Laff tried anything.

"The child shall be cleansed." Laff said gravely.

"What the fuck does that mean?" Meme exclaimed.

"It means that I'll show you to him, and you can have him back...but only if you allow me to pour holy water on him after the court case." Laff smirked.

"Laff...it's not his fault he's a vampire!" Meme groaned.

"I never said it was. All I said was that the little vampire situation WILL be fixed, and that's the way we're doing it. Period. Or I can just do it right now, which would be a lot less safe." Laff grinned.

"Fine." Meme sighed, knowing that there was a trick up his sleeve. Nadwe didn't have to stop being a vampire. Meme knew exactly what to do, so it wasn't hard to agree to this. Really, it was only a win for him.

Upon hearing the agreement, Laff proceeded to lead Meme and Muffin down into his basement, where they found a shaking Nadwe.

"MEME!" Nadwe yelled, happy to see him.

"You're getting outta here Nadwe, don't worry." Meme promised. Looking closer, he realized that Nadwe was shaking from weakness, not the scare of being held captive.  "You didn't drink all that you needed too, did you?" Meme asked. Nadwe looking  down guiltily is all he needed to know.

"I'll do it tomorrow." Nadwe promised. Laff rolled his eyes, but freed Nadwe, and Nadwe ran over to Meme and Muffin. He leaned heavily on Meme as they left, and Meme walked quickly, feeling the lingering gaze of Laff on him.

He hoped the plan would work.
