78. Ceremony

Two days had passed when Taehyung woke up from the noises outside the mansion. He looked at the masterpiece who's sleeping next to him and smiled, seeing how peaceful his mate was still sleeping, even though it's quite noisy outside.

Taehyung pecked his mate's lips before carefully removing his mate's strong arm wrapped around his body. Once he successfully removed his alpha's arm without waking him up, he slowly got out of bed and walked towards the window.

Everyone was so busy pacing back and forth preparing for the ceremony that will be held around 3 in the afternoon.

"Today is the day. We will have a bigger responsibility towards our pack," Taehyung thought to himself. He's doubting his capacity as a luna, even though he's actually overqualified for the position. He thought that he would never be as good as Hye Kyo and Minyoung, even though he's the actual son of the moon goddess herself.

A satisfied smile formed on his lips as he felt his mate's warmth when the alpha hugged him from behind.

Jungkook buried his face on his mate's neck, smelling the omega's intoxicating scent. The omega, on the other hand, titled his head to the side, giving his alpha more access to his neck.

"Are you ready for the ceremony, my love?" Jungkook asked. His face still buried on his mate's neck, his eyes shut closed as he continued to devour the omega's alluring scent.

"I'm ready for the ceremony. Anyway, I'll be just standing there the whole time," Taehyung said, giggling.

"But I'm a bit scared after the ceremony. You know, after they announced that I would be their new luna, do you think I'm capable of being a luna?" Taehyung added as he leaned back to close the distance between him and his mate.

"Are you serious, love? Of course you are. You are more than capable of being a luna," Jungkook answered with no hesitation.

The two stayed like that for a couple of minutes before they decided to shower and head out of their room for brunch.

"Where's everyone?" Taehyung asked as they were welcomed by empty seats on the dining table. Ever since they stayed at the Blood Moon Pack mansion, they have always eaten together, and seeing empty seats seems new to him.

"Hoseok and Sehun are with their mates. They are taking care of them, you know Alpha's being protective of their pregnant mates." Jungkook responded as the two sat beside each other, waiting for their food to be served.

"How about Jin and Jimin?"

"They went to the hospital. I think they finally decided to follow you." Jungkook said, smirking.

"They should be if they want a hea-" Taehyung got cut off by Jin and Jimin screaming in joy and running towards Taehyung and Jungkook.

"Oh my god! Will you two stop running?!" Namjoon and Yoongi yelled in unison, both following their mates. Taehyung and Jungkook were just smiling and looking at them.

Jimin and Jin immediately hugged Taehyung, pushing Jungkook to the side. The two were crying while repeatedly saying thank you to the omega.

"Tae, thank you so much! This is a wonderful blessing." Jimin said, sobbing.

"Thank you, baby! I couldn't thank you enough for this gift." Jin said.

The three separated from the embrace. Namjoon and Yoongi, on the other hand, are trying their best not to shed a tear. Although it's obvious that they are holding the tears of happiness in their precious eyes.

"It's not me." Taehyung said, smiling.

"What do you mean?" The two said in unison.

"It's from Ambrose." Jungkook said. The four gasp in shock at finding the truth.
