36-Graduation

It's been month without seeing Blaine Taylor. I missed him more than I could ever explain.

Anthony got released from the hospital but doesn't see Blaine at all. I think it's some kind of brother sister solitary thing even if it told him over and over that he could.

I graduated valedictorian of the class of 2021. I got ready and stared at myself in the mirror picking at every part. Riley comes into my room and grabs my arm. "Come on we're going to be late for our own graduation".

Anthony runs in "come on girls we have to go". Riley and I rush out to the car with Anthony and head to the school. Riley turns the music up and levitating by Dua lipa and we start dancing together.

Riley stayed at my house for the last 3 months.  She didn't want to leave me alone after I told her a million times I was fine. I hung out with Oliver too it was always just the three of us. We put his things into a boxes and cried and watched sad movies like titanic and the notebook.

We get to the parking lot there are students in their caps in gowns waiting to go inside. I made my way to into the school and sat in my spot and all the students start coming in after.

The principal starts talking. "Welcome students and parents and friends to the graduation of the class of 21. From all the staff here we congratulate all of you on your achievements."

The sound of clapping and cheering rings in the air. "Now we're going to call up our valedictorian Arielle Marie King".

I walk up to the stage with a big pretend smile on my face. I pulled out my speech from my pockets and placed it on the stand.

"Hi Class of 21 parents and friends. This year has been filled of challenges we all had them and now we graduate and head on with the rest of our lives with the people who loved us enough to stick by each other.".

I spotted Blaine in the crowd I closed my eyes so I didn't look at him and took a deep breath in and out. "And we move on with the knowledge that the people who didn't stick by us wasn't meant to be. Congratulations class of 21, we made it".

They all clapped and walked off the stage and back to sitting next to Riley. Riley whispered into my ear. "Are you okay?". She must of followed my glances when I looked at Blaine.

"Yeah, yeah I'm fine" I say.

They start calling names to get there diploma in rows.  I held Riley hand as we stood up to go up on the stage. I was nervous and my hands was shaking. Riley squeezes my hand and whispers. "We can do this!" she smiles.

"Riley Rose Brown" we both shrieked in excitement. She gave me a thumbs up before she walked up on stage.

Not long after they called my name. "Arielle Marie King". I walked up on stage and the principal hands me my diploma. I look at Riley as she takes a picture of me and walk off the stage into her hug.

"You looked amazing Arielle, I'm so proud of you bestie" she hugs me.

We walk back into our seats and watched as the row of students walk on the stage. When the last student walked crossed the stage the principal walked back up to the front.

"Please stand as we move out tassels" I got up and moved my tassel. The principal was smiley everyone around me was smiling but why weren't I. "Congratulations class of 21 your official graduates".
