Requested by @ErrorDark I guess it's their birthday around a week ago cuz I got this out late sorry! Happy birthday!
It had been exactly one year since Joey had summoned Bendy from the ink, and it was his birthday.
His friends decided to have a surprise party for him, and throughout the day pretended they had no idea it was Bendy's birthday.
The only reason Joey let them have a party was because it would leave him time alone to work on his...plans.
Bendy woke up and waited at the window for Henry. (The windows that would be removed in the future by Joey.)
He saw his car pull up and energetically waved at him. Henry smiled and laughed to himself, waving back.
The second he opened the door he was met with a huge hug around his knees from the demon. "Hey buddy." Henry said, patting his friends between the horns.
"Henryyy, do ya know what day it is?" Bendy asked. Henry pretended to look confused.
"It might be either Wednesday or Thursday, I'm terrible with days." Henry shrugged. Bendy's smile dropped.
"Oh...it's Thursday I think." Bendy said. He looked sad that Henry hadn't remembered. Henry felt his gut twist in guilt, he hated doing this.
"Do you wanna come draw with me?" Henry asked, trying to make Bendy feel better. The demon sort of shrugged.
"Nah, I was gonna go play cards with Boris in his room." Bendy slumped, looking at his shoes. He turned and left, tail sadly dragging on the floor.
This made it very hard for Henry not to run over and hug him. "Alright, I'll see ya bud." Henry said.
Bendy didn't respond. At least Boris could distract him and everybody else could set up Bendy's surprise party in the break room.
Sammy tried stepping on a chair to pin up colourful streamers, but was too short. He felt a pair of hands slide onto his waist and he was pulled upward into the air and was now able to reach.
Sammy's face flushed as he looked down and saw Norman. "Norman what the hell?!" He yelped.
"Calm down blush lord, I'm just helping you." Norman chucked.
Sammy blushed harder. "I'm not blushing! Shut up!" He snapped.
Henry watched from aside and laughed as he put up some decorations. Sammy sent him a glare, Henry looking away still smiling.
The studio break room had a little kitchen for occasions such as this. Jack and Wally were making a cake for Bendy, and currently decorating it.
They (more specifically Wally) got icing everywhere. Grant looked over at them in just sheer disappointment.
"You idiots got icing everywhere, you'd better clean that up- Jack you have some on your forehead." Grant sighed.
Wally looked over as Jack reached a hand up to his forehead. He stopped Jack by grabbing his wrists, then leaned over and licked the icing off his forehead.
Jack's face turned the colour of a tomato, and he stood still in surprise. "Wally whyyyy!" He yelped after a few silent seconds.
Wally laughed. "Your face is so red!" He giggled, looking at Jack's burning face.
Jack's senses slowly returned to him, and he narrowed his eyes at Wally. He grabbed him by the collar and pulled him into a kiss.
"Aww." Shawn cooed, turning to see Grant staring at him. The accountant quickly looked away when Shawn noticed.
The toy maker raised an eyebrow and went over to him. "Why were ya staring at me?" Shawn asked, leaning against Grant to be annoying.
"I wasn't." Grant mumbled, face flushing.
"Suuure." Shawn said sarcastically, leaning his shoulder into Grants. Grant blushed and just kept pinning up decorations.
Before Shawn left to the other side of the room to help set up other stuff, he kissed Grant on the cheek, leaving a violently blushing accountant behind.
Henry couldn't wait for Bendy to see his surprise. Once they finished, it was Henry's job to get Bendy into the break room.
He knocked on the door to Boris's room, and the wolf opened it, tilting his head. "Hey buddy, is Bendy in there?" Henry asked. Boris looked worried. Alice was behind him.
"We looked all over his room and my room and every other room but we can't find him anywhere!" Alice cried.
"Okay just uh...calm down. He's gotta be somewhere." Henry said. They searched the studio but didn't find him.
Henry eventually decided to check outside, and there he was under the blossom tree. Henry sheepishly walked over and sat beside him.
"Hey bud, what're you doing out here?" Henry asked, looked down at the little demon.
Bendy sighed and turned to look at Henry. "Just sittin." He replied quietly.
"Boris was sad that you didn't play cards with him." Henry said. "Do you want to go play with him? He's in the break room I think."
Bendy just shrugged. "Sure, not like I've got anything better to do." He sighed. Henry patted him between the horns.
The two walked in silence to the break room door, and Henry made sure Bendy went in first. "SURPRISE!!!" There was a loud yell from every worker and the other toons.
Bendy didn't expect it and it startled him, and he hid behind Henry's legs. Henry laughed at his reaction and everyone said 'Happy Birthday' to Bendy.
When Sammy went over, he glared at Henry. "Happy birthday, Henry forced all of us here." Sammy said.
"Oh, shut it Sam. You-" Norman started.
"Don't tell me to 'shut it!' I will not shut up and you cannot make me! I will yell for as long as I-" Sammy ranted, but Norman leaned down and kissed him so he in fact did shut it.
His face burned red and he was frozen. Henry and Bendy laughed at him. Sammy glared at them and stalked away, his whole face practically steaming.
Bendy turned to look up at Henry, a huge grin on his face. He reached up and gently tugged on the animators arm so he would kneel down to the toons height.
"Thank ya so much Hen, yer the best!" Bendy grinned.
"Anything for my favourite demon." Henry smiled back.
Bendy stood on his toes to cup Henry's cheeks and kiss him. Henry now had the same expression as Sammy moments before.
"I-I-wha-?" Henry spluttered. Bendy just grinned at him.
"I love ya Hen." Bendy said. His pie-cut eyes stared lovingly into Henry's.
"I love you too Bendy." Henry smiled. "Happy birthday."
