Sammy didn't know most of the other workers that well, the only ones he knew even a little bit were Henry and Norman, since he worked near them.
Even then he didn't talk much with them.
Sammy left for lunch break one day, bumping into someone on his way. Someone he hadn't met before. "Sorry!" The other said, catching Sammy's hands in his so that the musician wouldn't fall.
Sammy looked into his deep blue eyes, blushing a bit. "D-don't be, I should've watched where I was going." Sammy stuttered a little.
"Hey...I haven't seen you around the studio before, do you work here?" The blue eyed man asked. Sammy nodded.
"I'm the music director, Sammy Lawrence." He said, sticking out his hand. "Grant Cohen, the account." The other shook his hand.
"W-well I have to get going." Sammy muttered, turning and leaving towards the break room in a flustered mess.
Grant stared after him, smiling to himself. But the next day when Sammy went into the break room, he spotted Grant in there.
He had a mini panic attack and pretended not to see him. Sammy stiffened when he saw out of the corner of his eye Grant was watching him.
Then he saw Grant starting to walk over to him, but Sammy stood and left the room. He didn't know why he felt so panicked about talking to someone, he'd never felt like that before.
He passed by Grants office but knew he wasn't in there. But he stopped in front of it and turned, hearing footsteps behind him.
Wally came running up, looking guilty. "Hi Sammy..." he said. "Hello." Sammy replied. "So I uh...lost my keys again." Wally said sheepishly.
Sammy sighed. "Seriously Wally! That's the second time this week." He grumbled.
Someone else came down the hall. Sammy didn't notice, too busy telling off Wally. "Sometimes you can be so clumsy...alright, I'll help you find the damned things of you promise to keep a good eye on them!" Sammy said.
"I promise I will." Wally said, sounding unsure. Sammy saw movement out of the corner of his eye and his stomach lurched when he saw Grant going into his office, through the door that they were right beside.
"Hey Grant!" Wally said. "Hi Wally, and...Sammy right?" Grant said, turning to them. Sammy nodded. "Hey." He said quietly.
"Could you help me and Sammy look for my lost keys?" Wally asked. "Sure." Grant answered. Sammy had come to the conclusion in his mind that he must've had a crush on Grant.
Wally looked to each side of the two sided hallway. "You two could go that way, and I could go this way." He said. Sammy opened his mouth to argue but was interrupted.
"Sure." Grant said, his face the tiniest bit red. "Okay great!" Wally said, leaving down the right sided hallway.
The Janitor turned a corner and silently laughed to himself as he twirled his keys on his fingers. He knew what he was doing, setting up a couple was just too easy for him.
He knew that Sammy and Grant liked each other by the looks they were giving when the other wasn't looking.
Grant and Sammy had an almost silent walk along the halls. They both grew uncomfortable in the awkward silence.
"So...where do you think he dropped them?" Grant asked. Sammy shrugged. "He usually finds them in his pockets later, sometimes he can be so stupid." Sammy shook his head.
The silence just grew on from there. "Y'know what? I bet he has them." Sammy said after a few minutes. "Probably." Grant replied.
"Maybe we should go find him." Sammy suggested. Grant nodded in agreement. Soon they did find Wally and made him empty his pockets and of course, his keys spilled out.
"Wally, you know we have work to do and we don't have time for your little pranks." Sammy sighed, then left for the music department.
"But Sammy! You finished your song writing for today." Wally whined after him. Sammy ignored him and kept walking. The janitor wasn't giving up that easily.
He turned and saw Grant walking away the other way. "Grant wait! I actually need to tell ya something." Wally ran after him. "Look Wally, I'm busy." Grant growled.
"Fine then, guess you don't wanna know that someone in this studio had a crush on you." Wally muttered, just loud enough for Grant to hear.
"Excuse me what?" Grant asked, turning and facing the janitor.
"Sammy...he really likes you, just thought that you should know." Wally smirked, then turned and left. Grant was left blushing in the hallway.
He turned in his path and made his way to the music studio. He stopped at the door, hearing a piano and a beautiful voice.
Grant poked his head in and saw Sammy on the piano, singing. He obviously thought that he was alone.
When he had finished the song, he smiled contentedly to himself and leaned back on the stool. Grant knocked lightly on the door frame, Sammy jumping.
"G-Grant! Hi!" Sammy stood straight and acted like he hadn't just been scared a moment before. "Hi...I just came to tell you something, you have a beautiful voice by the way." Grant complimented.
Sammy blushed and looked at his feet. "T-thanks." He muttered. Grant walked a bit nervously over to Sammy.
"Can I tell you something?" Grant asked. "Sure." Sammy nodded. "Well I uh...I really like you...and um-yeah." Grant blushed deeply, not knowing what else to say.
The shorter man blushed as he gently grabbed Grant's shoulders and pulled him in for a kiss. Grant was a tiny bit surprised, but didn't mind, he liked it.
