It was lunch in the studio and Susie and Lacie were the only ones in the break room. They were talking about their opinions on the other workers.
"What's your opinion on Norman?" Susie asked. "He's hot I guess, and tall, but a bit weird." Lacie said.
"Yeah." Susie agreed. "Hmm...what about Grant?" Lacie asked. Susie gave her her honest answer.

Jack got up as he dropped his pen and stretched. He walked out into the hall to go to lunch. On his way he saw a whistling Wally at his broom closet.
"Hey Walls, wanna come to lunch with me?" Jack asked. His best friend turned to look at him. "Sure!" He grinned at the lyricist, giving him an overly enthusiastic thumbs-up.
They walked to the break room but stopped when hey heard laughing voices right inside of the break room.
Jack held up a hand to stop Wally. "I wanna hear what they're talking about." He whispered. "Okay nosey." Wally whispered back.
They listened to Susie and Lacie talking. "What about Grant?" Lacie asked. "He's hot too, I mean just look at him! Plus he's really smart." Susie giggled.
Wally made a face.
"What about Jack?" Susie asked. "Ooh, he's cute! His hair is so perfect and he's pretty smart, I'd ask him out if I had the guts." Lacie cooed.
Wally glared daggers at the door, and it was Jack's turn to make a face. "What about...Wally?" Lacie asked.
"Eeewww, he's so weird. I mean he's just so random and always excited it's sooo annoying! I wish he didn't work here." Susie said.
"Not like he'd get a better job, I mean he's pretty stupid." Lacie laughed. "And he's always acting so cheerful, but there's not much to be happy about and it's just so annoying!" Susie complained.
"I don't even know if he could keep the job as janitor, he's not that educated." Lacie and Susie laughed at their rude comments.
Wally stood in shock on the other side of the door. Jack instantly looked over at his friend. Soon the reality of what they said settled in, and Wally gulped and took off running down the hall.
Jack chased after his friend. "Wally wait!" Jack called. He didn't see which way Wally went, but he had an idea of where.

Wally ran out the door of the studio and collapsed on the grassy ground underneath their pink blossomed tree that was outside the studio.
He sobbed into his knees as he curled up into a ball, leaning against the trunk. It was a minute before he felt a light tap on his shoulder.
Wally glanced up to see Jack. He laid his head back down on his knees. "Hey, you okay?" Jack asked, sitting on the grass beside his friend.
Wally didn't answer. "Hey, Walls. Just ignore them, that's just two peoples opinions, and they don't exactly have the best opinion on things, I mean c'mon, this is Susie the drama queen and Lacie the one who's 'never wrong'." Jack said.
Wally couldn't help but have a small smirk on his face. "Yeah, but what if everyone else thinks I'm annoying too, because they do act like it, even you." Wally sighed.
"Nononono! I don't think you're annoying!" Jack denied. "Really? If you do you can just tell me I don't really care." Wally said, even thought he definitely cared.
"I could never find you annoying even if I wanted to, and I, uh...think I should tell you something, n-now might be a g-good time." Jack said nervously.
Wally tipped his head to the side like a confused puppy. "What is it?" He asked.
"Y-Y'know what? N-never mind, I-it's stupid." Jack said, his face flushing red. "Okay, now ya have to tell me." Wally said, poking his friend's shoulder.
Jack took a deep breath, knowing there was no backing out. But he tried to back out anyways. "Y'know, I bet they were just jealous of how happy you are all the time, and you're not stupid, they are, they're literally voice actors." Jack said.
His efforts had successfully distracted the janitor. "But I am stupid Jack." Wally sighed. "Oh really? Do you know how many times you've out-witted the other workers?" Jack said.
"Zero." Wally replied. "No, remember that one time that you made those guys down in the storage room make the carnival games open the door so you didn't have to." Jack said.
Wally had a slight smirk on his face. "Yeah, and they took the idea instantly." He chuckled lightly at the memory.
Then he suddenly remembered something. "Hey, you were going to tell me something!" Wally said. Jack's face turned pink.
"It can wait." Jack mumbled. "Noooo, tell me!" Wally said. "Whyyyyyy? It doesn't matter okay?" Jack said. Wally crossed his arms.
"I will get it out of you, and I'll put my being annoying to use." Wally playfully glared at his best friend. "Nope." Jack stood and tried booking it back to the studio, but was quickly caught by the surprisingly fast janitor.
Wally tackled Jack to the ground and sat on top of him. "Now you will tell me, because whatever it is I'm sure it does matter." Wally said.
"Not to you so it really doesn't." Jack answered. "If it matters to you then it matters to me." Wally smiled down at Jack.
That sentence warmed the lyricist's heart. "Fine, only if you get off of me first." Jack said. "Nice try, just tell me this big secret of yours." Wally said.
Jack took a deep breath and prepared himself. "Okay so, I uh...well you're- no I mean, ugh!" Jack couldn't find the right words to say.
His face grew red as he tried to explain. Wally tilted his head in confusion. Jack sighed, and just decided to let his mouth speak the words it wanted.
"Well, ever since the first day in the studio you've been right by my side and been my best friend for almost two years now.
You're the person I hold closest to my heart and I could never ask for a better friend than you, I don't know what I'd do without you.
You're always there when I need you and always someone I can trust with any secret, and even with my life. And I love you. A lot." Jack said. He avoided eye contact with Wally as he spoke.
The janitor was still, but surprisingly enough he didn't get off of Jack. "Why didn't you tell me before?" He asked quietly.
"I was worried that those three words would ruin our friendship." Jack said. He felt his heartbeat in his throat as he waited for Wally to speak.
To his dismay, the janitor didn't speak. But to his absolute delight, Wally collapsed on top of Jack and kissed him.
"I love you a lot too Jack." Wally said, smiling and squishing his face against Jack's as he hugged him. Jack happily hugged him back.
"And can I just say that you definitely have a way with words. No wonder they chose you as the lyricist." Wally added.Nobody asked for this. I don't care have some bois. This is my favourite batim ship btw.
Really think I'd end it there?
Wally and Jack held hands as they walked back towards the studio. They entered the break room to see Susie and Lacie still chatting.
Wally and Jack glanced at each other, smirking. It was time for Wally to do what he did best; cause havoc.
He walked up to the girls. "Hello!" He said. Lacie and Susie backed away a step. "Hi." They said. "Whatcha talking about?" He asked.
"Non of your business." Susie growled. Wally shrugged. "Hey Lacie, I heard that ya liked Jack." Wally straight out said.
Jack raised an eyebrow from the doorway. He was leaning against it and observing them. He had no clue what Wally was planning, but he knew it'd be good.
"W-what! N-no!" Lacie blushed. "Oh really? Y'know just not that long ago me and Jack were going to the break room and we heard you talking about him, and then me." Wally crossed his arms and glared at the embarrassed girls.
"Well guess what?" Wally asked. Susie glared at him and so did Lacie. "This guy-" Wally turned and pulled Jack forwards.
"Is mine." Wally wrapped his arms tightly around the blushing Jack. "So if I ever hear ya talking like that about him again I will end you."
Lacie and Susie stared at them. "And if you chunks of lipstick ever talk about Wally like that again I'm going to vote for Alison to replace Susie." Jack said.
"Fine!" Susie rolled her eyes and turned and left, Lacie following behind.
Jack twisted sideways in Wally's tight embrace to give him a kiss on the top of his nose. Wally grinned at him.
