Everyone walks towards the monitoring room besides Bakugou, Iida, Uraraka, Midoriya and I. The glares Bakugou was sending towards Midoriya were so sharp I felt that they were even piercing through me.

As I go to step between the two boys, Midoriya meets Bakugou's gaze. Bakugou looks almost surprised that he did- before returning to his glare full of anger.

"Bad guys, you can go in and get set up. In five minutes, the good guys will be let loose and the fight will begin." I smirk slightly, throwing a glance back at Uraraka and she gives me a thumbs up.

Bakugou walks by me, bumping shoulders.

All Might stops Bakugou before he walks in and gives him some sort of advice, my heart was pumping too loud in my ears for me to hear.

Uraraka looked at the map in front of her. "You think they expect us to remember this?" I question shakily, jutting my thumb towards the map. "It's so big." Uraraka's doe eyes looked up to the building in front of her.

"My bet is Bakugou is gonna do something stupidly impulsive- like kill Midoriya." I snickered. "We- we have to focus, Kumiko." Midoriya reminded.

I shrugged, "I know, just playing. But for real, you owe me lunch if I'm right. Deal?" I turn towards the green haired boy.

Uraraka and I jump. "You're- you're sweating through your costume!" She exclaims.

"Look Midoriya, there's nothing to worry about. She was only joking." Uraraka tries to reassure. "Bakugou is angry, but he's not stupid." I chuckle awkwardly. Uraraka nods, "Kumiko is right, All Might said he would step in anyway." She smiles.

"Yeah, I doubt he gets there quicker than one of Bakugou's deadly explosions though." I shrug. "Kumiko!" Uraraka exclaims quietly. My eyes widen at the now shaking boy.

"I was kidding! It was a joke!" I shake my hands in front of his face.

Midoriya sighs, "It's not that- Kacchan is much more confident and stronger. There's no doubt he could beat me- he's great." Midoriya stands slowly, putting his mask on. "It just means I'll have to do better." He finishes.

I make worried eye contact with Uraraka before I slap his back. "That's the spirit!" I smile.

Uraraka smirks. "So, it's a battle between rivals." She concludes. Midoriya turns quickly in our direction, shaking his hands in front of him. "Not that I'm trying to get you guys involved in my fight!" He reassured.

Uraraka and I look at one another. "Are you kidding?" Uraraka asks. I lean myself on Uraraka, "Yeah! We're a team, right?" I question rhetorically. Uraraka jumps up and down and my arm falls off her shoulder.

"Let's win this!" She exclaims.

Uraraka and I followed closely behind Midoriya as he checked corners. As we walked through the creepily, dark halls I listened closely.

"Midoriya." I whispered. Him and Uraraka looked back at me. I closed my eyes slowly before snapping them open. My now slightly glowing eyes gave me the advantage of seeing everything in the dark.

"Let me take the lead."

He nods slowly, staring into my glowing yellow orbs. I walk slowly by, looking down a large corridor. I then walk out from behind the wall. I'm surprised my legs haven't given out at this point.

We slowly walked down the hall, I noticed the second hallway in the middle of the corridor. As I raised my hand in a fist to signal them to slow down, I heard it.

I spin quickly facing the two behind me giving them a harsh shove. "Move!" I scream. Bakugou leaps from the corridor and I dive away from the explosion, unintentionally splitting myself from Uraraka and Midoriya.

I use the wall to help myself up and look closely at the cloud of smoke in front of me.

It clears and Bakugou stands in all his glory, facing away from me. "What's wrong Deku? Afraid to stand up and fight me?" He jeers.

"I made you come get me first. I figured you'd try take me by surprise." Midoriya informs.

Bakugou takes a leap towards Midoriya but Midoriya jumps forward, grabbing his left arm and swinging him over his left shoulder.

I let out a loud cheer, unintentionally letting out a sigh of relief between. "Yes Midoriya!" I cheer.

Midoriya stands tall beside me now. "You can call me Deku, but I'm not the same defenceless, helpless kid anymore." Midoriya says confidently.

You're a badass Deku.

He smiles greatly, "From now on Deku is the name of a great hero!" He exclaims. I smile with the boy, looking down to Bakugou, who sat shocked on the floor.

He stands slowly and looks at Midoriya.

"Deku, you're shaking in your boots you're so scared." Midoriya raised his fists in defence, ready to fight. "But you still want to fight me." Bakugou's fists created small explosions, yet loud and almost deafening.

"That's why I hate you!" He yells.

Suddenly, he raised his hand to his ear. "Just shut up and defend!" Defend! Of course, the weapon! I meet eyes with Uraraka across the hall.

There's no way I can get past Bakugou without bringing attention to Uraraka, who he seems to have forgotten about momentarily.

Bakugou's fists aim straight down and warning explosions come from them. "Uraraka, go!" I speak through the ear piece.

Bakugou leaps for us and I dive down the hallway Bakugou first came from. "Ballsy move!" He yells. Although I dived, Deku stayed put raising his arms in a blocking position.

Then I just noticed it, without my night vision I probably would've missed it but it was as clear as day right now. The white tape each of us got to capture our opponents. "Deku!" I call as Bakugou threw out another explosion.

Midoriya dodged. He dodged!

I immediately grabbed his wrist, pulling him after me. "Hey! Get back here you two!"

I turn a sharp corner, speeding up- basically carrying Midoriya at this point before I dive around another corner.

"Go!" I whisper. His eyes widen. "No way, I'm not leaving you to fight Kacchan alone!" He replies. I wave him off. "You're not, once you find the bomb come right back and fight him yourself." I inform. "We'll find the weapon faster if two people are looking for it, and you're gonna be the one to take down Bakugou so save your energy and find the bomb." I look behind me quickly, my heightened senses catching the sound of footsteps.

"Why don't you look for it?" He questions. "Because without my quirk you'll never know when Bakugou's approaching." the sound of his footsteps were nearing. "I'll hold him off." I give Midoriya a large shove. "Now go!" I snap.

The boy scurries away quickly before giving one last look to me and I smile reassuringly giving a thumbs up. "You got this, Deku!" I call quietly. He turns the corner and I turn around. "He's got this." I mutter to myself.
