"Excuse me!"

My head snaps up to the woman in front of me, holding a microphone to my face. I raise my eyebrow in annoyance. "Sorry." I respond, shoving my way past her. A man steps out in front of me blocking my way through the school gates.

"Can you tell us what it's like to work so closely with All Might, the symbol of peace himself?" I cringe and look at the man. "No." I answer. I look ahead and spot the familiar red and yellow haired boys coming to my rescue. "Hey! Kumiko-Chan!" One of them yells.

"Wait! It's Kumiko Mai- the daughter of the past fourth and twelfth pro-heroes!" I purse my lips. I can hear many whispers from the crowd and overhear a few people.

"I heard their kid got into UA through recommendations, but considering we've never seen her before- I had no idea."

"I wonder what her quirk is?"

"She looks just like her mother."

My eyes widened at that statement and my breath almost flew out of my body. I tightened my hands into a fist to stop from them shaking. "Could you excuse me, please?" I beg, attempting to weakly shove my way past the many people to get to the two boys on the other side.

"Can you give us an in-detail description of them and how they act as parents?!" A woman asked from beside him. My way into the school was now completely barricaded.  "Uhm, that's-that's pretty difficult considering they're dead." I say quietly and uncomfortably.

"Of course, but since you-"

A hand suddenly grasps my arm firmly tugging me towards the gate. I saw a flash of blonde hair in my vision and let out a sigh of relief. "She doesn't have time for you idiots."

Bakugou and I burst through the entrance to UA and walk towards the school. He pulled me past Kirishima and Kaminari with not so much as a 'hello'.

"Tha-"

"Don't mention it, ever." He drops my arm. I was expecting some sort of insult about how I handled myself in front of a bunch of 'extra's,' as Bakugou would say, but no remark came.

We entered the class silently and took our seats.

I placed my head onto my desk as Aizawa spoke, the thoughts of my parents clouded any other thought in my head. Now that the media know what I look like, everyone will know.

"Pick me guys! I wanna be class rep!" I jolt in my seat and sit up, hearing Kirishima from my diagonal. "I'll take it!" I hear from beside me. I sigh hearing everyone shout and yell about wanting to be class rep.

I stayed silent throughout the yelling and luckily after a few moments Iida stopped. "Attention! A class representative is someone who has everyone's trust and is a clear leader. I say we face this challenge democratically and hold an election." Smiling slightly, I leaned my head on the desk again, Iida is the clear choice here.

My mind was still on my parents as I stared at the board in front of us.

"Okay, you idiots!" Bakugou called. "Who voted for him?" He pointed towards Midoriya's name on the board. The number three beside it.

"Did you honestly think anyone would vote for you?" Sero commented with a laugh.

I tried to drown out the yells of Bakugou and instead listened to the back of the class.

"I only received one vote?" I hear. "C'mon man, you talked about not voting for yourself and everything!" I think it was Denki who said that. "I didn't vote for myself!"  Iida defended. "Then who voted for you?" I eventually sit up and turn in my seat to look at the back of the class.
