━ chapter thirty four

"I'm getting nervous!" Jirou groaned, holding tightly onto her bag straps.

"If you guys pass this test and get your provisional licenses, then you novice eggs will become chicks... you'll hatch into semi-pros." Aizawa stared at the group of students. "Do your best."

"All right! I'll become a chick!" Denki informed, balling his hand into a fist. "Let's call out the usual! Ready, set- Plus-"

"Ultra!"

Mai was interrupted by a tall, very enthusiastic boy. She turned around in shock at the man, as did Kaminari and Kirishima. 

"You shouldn't just barge into people's huddles, Inasa." A purple headed boy scolds, his hand behind his back. Beside him stood a pretty blonde girl, her lips were large- Mai noted.

"Oh no!" 'Inasa' exclaimed. He stepped back and slammed his hands to his side. "I am very-" He slammed his forehead onto the floor. "Very sorry!" 

"What's with this guy?!" Kaminari exclaimed. 

"Wait... that uniform!" Jirou pointed out. 

Mai fell back beside Bakugou. "It's from that famous school in the west..." Midoriya spoke aloud. "UA in the east, Shiketsu in the west." Bakugou spoke. 

Inasa smiled scarily, "I just wanted to try say it once, Plus Ultra!" He exclaimed. "I love UA High School!" He confessed. 

As Aizawa explained everything about the boy, Mai's eyes widened. She knew this boy from the entrance exam for students who were entered through recommendations!

"He loves UA so much but turned down his acceptance to it? What a weirdo." Mina spoke. "He is a weirdo, but he's the real thing-" Aizawa was interrupted.

"Eraser! Eraser!" A turquoise-haired woman raced towards the man. She explained their profound love for the man before calling her students over. 

"Ketsubusu Academy, second years class 2." Ms Joke explained. "Oh no..." Mai whispered, falling a step behind Bakugou in an attempt to hide herself. The blonde threw a look back at Mai in confusion before looking back to the group of students.

"They're my class, so please be kind!"

Mai leaned her head onto Bakugou's shoulder. This day is about to be hell.

"Kumiko-Chan? Kumiko-Chan?!"

Her fellow students parted to give Shindou the perfect look at the pink-haired girl. "Oh wow! Even cuter in your school uniform!" He exclaimed at the girl. The class of UA snapped their head back and forth from the two in shock. 

"Eh?! How do you know our Kumiko?" Kirishima questioned, crossing his arms and stepping in front of the girl. Shindou smiled and grabbed Kirishima's hand to shake. "I'm Shindou! I met Mai-Chan when she was interning with Mirko!"

Bakugou turned to the smaller girl behind him. "This- he's-" Bakugou subtly gestured towards the dark-haired boy speaking to Kirishima. Mai nodded to the boy, her face visibly uncomfortable. She grasped his arm, "don't do anything rash. Not before the exam." She warned, pulling him back gently.

"And Bakugou!" The two's head snapped onto the brunette in front of everyone. "You're heart seems the strongest from being the centre of the Camino incident!" 

"Uh-"

"I'll do my best learning from you today!" Hsi hand was outreached towards the blonde. Bakugou slapped the boys hand away harshly. "Stop pretending. The stuff you're saying doesn't match the look on your face." He turned, concealing more of Kumiko away from the other boy.
