Chapter thirteen: I'm your nurse

"Hi, Saya. I need you to find every person in Japan that has the surname Stellard. I wan't you to find them in 3 days. For the mean time cancel every meeting that I have in the next 3 days." 

Nagising ako sa taong nagsasalita, si Enzo nasa kwarto ko. Nakaupo siya sa kama ko. Sobrang bigat ng pakiramdam ko, may sakit ata ako. 

"Yeah, I'm here at her place. No I need to take care of her, yeah. See you in 3 days, I'll just contact you whenever I need something. Yeah, thank you." 

Pagkatapos ng tawag niya gumalaw na ako. 

"I'm sorry darling, did I wake you up?" Tanong niya bago ako alalayan tumayo. He placed his hand on my forehead, "You have a fever. You should rest." I yawned as I fix my hair up in a bun. 

"My head hurts." I said while holding my head. Lumabas ng kwarto si Enzo at agad bumalik na may hawak na tray. Mayroon itong soup, water and medicine. 

"Eat breakfast first before you drink the medicine." Umupo siya sa tabi ko at inilagay ang tray sa harapan ko. Kukunin ko na sana yung kutsara pero naunahan niya ako, he got a spoonful of the soup and blowed the soup until it's warm before putting the spoon in my mouth. 

Ang sweet niya! Magkasakit nalang ako lagi para may nurse ako na cute. 

"You overworked yourself yesterday and trained for almost 6 hours and then you cried for 2 hours. That's why you fainted, and now you have a fever." He held my my cheek before kissing my forehead.

"You need to get well soon, also postponed muna yung training mo for a week. Next week ka na ulit magtre-train. At yung task natin na binigay ng parents ko, hoping we would do that in the next 3 weeks. Also about your brother, we're already taking a look at it." 

I smiled at him, he's really making this kind of effort just to help me. 

"Thank you, darling." I said. "May I ask?" Tumango siya sa akin, "Why are you so willing to help me? Like, we should treat each other like partners. No feelings, and all the shit connected to love and pain."

"You already know the answer to that, Vesper."

"And I wan't to hear it from you again." 

He looked at me straight in the eyes. PInagpalit palit niya ang tingin sa labi at mata ko. I think I know where this is going. 

He kissed me, until we were both breathless. "I love you, Ravenna Vesper Hendrix. And that will never change. Just keep in mind that every rogue thing that I will do in the future would be for us." 

As what I always say, maybe someday in some part of the opposite universe. I'll chose you.

Aalis na sana siya ng kwarto ko pero hinawakan ko yung kamay niya, "Stay beside me, darling. I'm scared." Automatic na bumalik siya sa tabi ko at niyakap agad. 

Every scene with him is wholesome. Walang kabastusan, o kung anong pwedeng mangyari kapag nasa isang kwarto ang babae at lalaki. He really knows how to treat a lady right, and he knows how to respect a girl. That's what I love about you darling. 

"Why are you scared?" He asked me while brushing my hair with his fingers. 

"I had a really bad dream." He looked at me and nodded so that I can continue telling what I dreamt of. "The Remingtons and Stellards is reborn, Kaede and the others will go here in Japan to find me. And they will take me away from you, because you are controlling me or manipulating me." 

"Some part of it is true. Darling, when I manipulate you, will you be mad?" He suddenly asked. Hindi ako takot, hindi din ako magagalit. 

"No." 

"Why? I'm depriving you of your freedom, tapos hindi ka magagalit?" 

"I trust you, Enzo. Hindi na yun magbabago, kung sakaling pasakitin mo ulo ko at gawin mo yang manipulation na dati mo pang sinasabi, alam ko namang may dahilan yon. Kaya may tiwala ako sa iyo" 

Onting onti nalang makakatulog na ako ulit pero nagising ang diwa ko nang bigla siyang kumanta. 

"It's a beautiful night, we're looking for something dumb to do..." Ang ganda talaga ng boses niya, I wan't this kind of dream. When a man sings you to sleep. 

"Hey baby, I think I wanna marry you." May meaning kaya tong kinakanta niya, If I'm not mistaken he's singing a bruno mars song. "Is it the look in your eyes? Or is it this dancing juice?"

"Who cares baby, I think I wanna marry you." 

Just give me the god damn ring Enzo and let's get fucking married if you really want to. Syempre hindi ko yon masasabi, wala akong lakas ng loob masyado. 

"Well I know this little chapel, on the boulevard we can go, no one will know, oh come on girl." Niyayaya na ata ako nito magtanan, jusko bawal darling. May sakit pa ko, pwede ba next week nalang? Joke!

"Who cares if we're trashed? Got a pocket full of cash, we can blow." Doon na ako nakatulog sa napakalamig niyang kanta. 

Nagising ako sa tapik ni Enzo, "Darling, it's already 8pm. Let's eat before you sleep again." Inalalayan niya ako patayo ng kama. He cooked sopas? Parang inaaraw-araw niya ang pagluluto ng filipino dishes. kina-career niya na ata yung pagluluto niya. 

"When will you teach me to speak Japanese?" Tanong ko sa kanya, para naman hindi ako napapahiya dito sa Japan tuwing may bibilhin ako o kung ano man. 

"I can teach you right now, what do you wan't to learn?" 

"The basics." 

"Aishteru." Sabi niya at ikinataka ko yun. Familiar yung salitang yon pero hindi ko maalala kung saan ko narinig at kung ano ang ibig sabihin. 

"Aishteru?" Patanong kong sagot. He laughed before speaking again. 

"Watashi mo aishteru." 

Natapos na kaming kumain pero hindi na natanggal sa isip ko yung sinabi ni Enzo. Ano yung Aishteru? At ano pa yung sinabi niya pagkatapos non? 

I'm currently sitting in my pajamas sa couch, habang naglilinis ng lamesa si Enzo. I looked up the meaning of Aishteru and it means... I love you? GAGO! So ibig sabihin sinabihan k siya na mahal ko siya. 

"Watashi mo aishteru." I unconsciously said at di na ko nagulat nang makita ko si Enzo na nasa tabi ko na. 

"Remind me again na wag na ko magpapaturo sayo ever." Sabi ko at umirap. 

"Wag mo muna pairalin kamalditahan mo baka mabinat ka, bumaba na ng konti lagnat mo." He placed his hand on my forehead. 

"Bakit ka nga pala nandito? Kaya ko naman sarili ko, may trabaho ka pa." 

"You're more important. Parehas tayong naka-off the next 3 days darling. Magpahinga ka muna. 

We stayed silent again when one notification on my phone popped up, binuksan ko yon and it's a chat from someone.
