Chapter thirty-three: Overthink

Nasa beach resort pa rin kami at kumplet kaming lima. I've arranged an meeting, sort of. 

We are currently sitting in front of the waves, nasa sand kami. Sayang naman ang punta namin dito diba? Kagabi nangyari ang insidenteng Stellard wave. Dahil isa sa mga dating Stellards ang nagpakita sa amin at nagbanta. 

"So you think that they might come after you here at Japan?" Tanong ni Saya habang naglalaro ng buhangin kasama si Luke. 

Speaking of Luke, nakita niya pala kung paano kami pumatay kagabi. I was actually about to explain everything to him but he was just amaze, and couldn't get over on how we fight. He was also recreating some scenes that he saw and adding sounds that he heard. 

I actually find it cute because he did not over react or cried when he saw how we killed those persons mercilessly. Also ever since then, he started to bug me about when his training is going to be. 

"Ate was like, woshh, and kuya was like bang bang! And then they won the fight." Pagkwekwento ni Luke. 

"We just need to be extra careful about our surroundings and expand our attention to every corner incase one of them assassinate us." Sabi ko bago lumusob sa dagat. 

I was wearing a black 2 piece underneath my see through dress. Para naman approve tayo sa fiance ko. Mayroong mini pool doon malapit sa bahay pero trip namin ngayon sa dagat. Ayaw ko talaga pumunta dito, dahil masusunog balat ko. Pero siyempre pinilit ako ni Luke kaya hindi na ako nakatangi.

While I was looking at the clear water my gaze stopped at Luke and Enzo building a sand castle, they're not really good at it but atleast they're trying. 

We took a group photo and I posted a lot of my pictures on my Instagram, I know theres a lot of risk posting it. But I'm ready to face everything. Bahala na kung kinabukasan makita ko sila Kaede na kumakatok na doon sa pintuan ng unit namin. 

I changed my background to a picture with Enzo. Para tuwing magcecellphone ako ang una kong makikita ang masayang buhay ko. 

To be honest, my relationship with him is much more breathable, and flexible. Me and cassian is all about dating without the others knowing. I couldn't actually shout his name to the world because we're being forced to be apart. 

While me and Enzo, our job here is not a problem because every task is easy and can be done within a certain day. You don't need months of preparation like in the Philippines. 

Speaking of that country, I heard that malakas na ang company namin doon. Most famous corporation na nga eh. I know that there will be the time where I will need to man up and lead the company. Hindi ko pwedeng takasan ang lahat, and my sister is right. I just can't leave the company into worse hands. 

Hindi na nawala sa isip ko ang mga ito, I have so many thoughts in my mind. 

"Darling, kanina pa lumilipad ang utak mo. Mind telling me what's on your mind?" tanong ni Enzo at inabutan ako ng shake. I sipped on it bago umiling. 

"Nothing, same old things. Our future, Kaede and the others, and me taking over our company." Sagot ko, I didn't lie. Hindi ko na kayang magsinungaling sa kanya dahil I couldn't stand a chance when he's mad at me. 

Not that we always fight but you can't avoid fighting about random shits you know. 

He nodded, nilagay niya ang siko niya sa buhangin probably not giving a damn about anyone. "You should take over your company when we get married," I looked at him with my confused face. "Because my parents said that when we get married the rights will be placed to me and I will rule and take over the agency." 

I sighed, "And my dad made sure that when I marry someone any of their possesion and mine will be combined. I'm sure he will want to combine our corporation to your agency."

He smiled, "Don't worry darling. I'm sure my mom would like that too, considering the fact that Hendrix corporation practically colonized the whole Philippines and our agency is well know in Japan. She would like that kind of proposal or attention." He gave me a quick kiss before standing. 

"Come on, let's swim." 

Nagpahatak naman ako sa kanya, I was smiling the whole time. Sulitin ko nang pangiti ngiti nalang ako dahil I have a feeling that in the next few months. It will feel like hell. 

Pagkabalik namin sa bahay nagbanlaw ako at nagpalit ng hoodie at sweatpants. Malamig kasi dahil binuksan ni Enzo yung aircon. Sabi niya his hotness is taking over the room. Diba ang hangin niya? Baka bumagyo jusko, hindi mo alam ang pwedeng mangyari, climate change is serious here in Japan. 

Dito na din magste-stay sila Saya at sabay sabay na kami ni uuwi bukas sa sari-sariling bahay. 

I also promised Saya that I will tell Enzo about Maverick and hers relationship, baka daw kasi uminit ang ulo kapag sila mismo ang umamin. 

Umupo ako sa tabi ni Enzo habang nasa hita ko ang laptop. 

"Darling?" Pagtawag ko sa kanya, tinapunan niya ako ng tingin bago bumalik sa pagcecellphone. 

"Hmm?" 

"Paano kapag yung isa sa mga agents ay nagkaroon ng relasyon? Parurusahan mo ba sila?" 

Kumunot ang noo niya, "Why the sudden question?" 

"wala lang." I tried my best not to stutter, kasi baka malaman niya agad ang dahilan. 

"I know you're lying. Is this about the secret relationship of Maverick and Saya that they think I'm not aware of?" Nanlaki ang mata ko, alam niya na pala. 

"You don't care?" 

Umiling siya, "It's there life, and I wont meddle in their business. Do what they want, but if boss master finds out about that then they should be scared." 

Tumango nalang ako bago maglaptop. 

I searched all the possible people that may be involved in the reborning of Stellards and Remingtons. I know for a fact that Yvethe will be included because she is an old apprentice of my ate. And they have that old group, there was 3 of them I think. Include Merezza in that. 

I know that the story went from frienships, into sleeping with each others boyfriend, into going to three different corporations. Ate is in the Hendrix of course, Merezza took Remington, and Yvethe took the Stellards.

Then I searched for my ex-team's profiles. I head that they have one recruit, Maeve is her name I think. Austin mentioned that she seduced Cassian but I don't give a fuck. Then we have Kaelyn, I have a feeling that she will be involved in this case. 

What do you mean by this case? I'm sure they considered finding me as a case, like 'Operation: Find Ravenna'. I'm also assuming that Riley will also come with, well just by her calls I know that she already wants to see me. 

Isa lang ang masasabi ko, there will probably three groups fighting. First group are the Remingtons adn Stellards, then Kaede's team, and me and Enzo. We don't need anyone else, just by having each other we know we have a great force.
