Chapter thirty-five: Hi

Nang malaman ko ang mga impormasyong ibinigay sa akin ni Enzo nagmadali na kami umalis sa bahay nila. Dumiretso agad kami sa unit para kunin si Luke. 

"Ate, why would I stay at ate Saya's place for a week?" Tanong nito. 

I sighed while fixing his things, kumpleto naman na ata ako, shirt, pants, and toys. I let him wore the backpack before answering the question. 

"Because you will be in danger when you stay here. I'm protecting you okay?" Hinalikan ko siya sa noo. "The usual, don't cry when I'm gone, I'll be back don't worry. And this time, maybe this will be the last time I'm leaving you." 

He hugged me tight before leaving me, kasi nandoon na sa labas ng pinto si Saya. 

I saw Enzo fixing the most expensive gun that we have in our collection, "This is what we're gonna be using." sabi niya bago ako iwan muli sa sala. 

He said that he had a feeling that today we'll encounter them, kasi nakuha na daw ni Cassian yung sulat na ibinigay ko sa isang bar na kasabwat namin sa plano. 

We would let them think that I am being controlled by Enzo, and that when they tell him to not control me I will just act that I still love Cassian. Simple and I think I could do that. I don't know the possibilities that might happen when we made that act. But for our safety we would do this. 

"Ano ang plano mo, kapag kinausap ka na nung Priam na yon?" I can already sense jealousy from his tone. Natawa ako bago lumapit sa kanya, he was looking at me so I smiled. 

"You don't have to worry about us breaking up because I will fall again for him. You think I would agree on being your fiance if I'm still not over him? Of course I'm gonna tell them that you're my fiance but before that I'll question them first and all that."

"If he kisses you I will ripped his intestines out."

Kumunot noo ko sa kanya, he's making up a lot of scenarios in his mind. "Why would he kiss me, and why would I let my lips be kissed by him? Sayo lang to, darling." 

Nagkibit balikat siya, "Who knows? Maybe he will get the wrong idea, well for starters he doesn't know that you have a boyfriend so he will think that you're still in love with him and boom he will kiss you and because you are shock you couldn't do anything." natawa nalang ako sa kanya. 

"I promise you, that will never happen." I kissed him on the lips before going up to our bedroom. Magpapalit na kasi ako ng all black outfit ko tapos magmamask pa ako, para iwas alam nila na kami ang magiikot sa Tokyo para mahagilap sila. 

I got out of the unit with Enzo at plano naming maglibot libot ng magkahiwalay, we use these 'tattoos' to communicate so that it won't be obvious. I don't really like the thought of me having a temporary tattoo but for the sake of this task I have to do it. 

"You check on higher ground and I'll check below. Ganon lang ulit ang plano, if ever we're gonna kill them I'll do the talking and you do the killing." Biro niya kaya inismiran ko siya. 

"We're just giving them a simple warning." Sabi ko at tumango siya. 

Naghiwalay na kami, umakyat ako sa rooftop ng building namin. Para kitang kita ko ang view, and para masaya yung entrance ko, mangagaling sa taas. Marunong naman ako tumalon talon sa mga building kaya maisasagawa ko tong thrilling entrance. 

"Affirmative agent Hendrix, they're here. Should we make ourselves suspicious and follow them?" Tanong ng isang lalaking kabilang sa agency sa tattoo ear piece kineme. 

"Hai, Watashitachi ga karera no ue ni iru koto o karera ni shirasete hoshī." 

[Translation: Yes, I want you to let them know that we're on them.]

"Where even are they?" Tanong ko. 

Nagsalita si Enzo, "I see them darling. 13 blocks away from your position. Jump to the nearest building and you could meet me there. I'll be the one to follow you, so you take the lead." 

I jumped through every building hanggat sa may marinig ako akong may sinusuntok at naguusap. I looked down and I saw 2 dead bodies I pity them pero wala eh. Pinatay nila. 

I heard some police sirens but I know that was just Enzo. All of the panicked pero si Kaede naman sinusuntok pa rin yung isang lalaki. Nagtama ang tingin namin ni Enzo I nodded when he was about to flash some lights.

Binuhat nila yung knock out na lalaki, they were walking like they are in a model show. Tumutunog kasi yung boots ni Hailey at Kaede. Tapos yung bago nila? Si Maeve? Ang tahimik. 

Bumaba ako sa staircase or sa fire exit ng apartment na to. I shot the leg of Calyx. Lahat napaka ang atensyon sa akin. They were all shocked, wala akong ibang tinapunan ng tingin kung hindi si Kaede. I can feel her scared state. 

Bumaba ako sa railings at tumalon papunta sa direksyon ni Enzo. "Darling, you should just give them a warning first." He said before putting his hands on my waist. "Give them a note. Or something."

Maglalakad na sana kami paalis pero lumingon ako ulit sa kanila, I placed my facemask down for a split second and smirked. I saw their shock faces, and that's what you get when you keep putting your noses on my business. 

Pagbalik namin sa unit sinermonan na ako agad ni Enzo, "How could you be so careless darling? Our plan is to not show your identity yet, but you blew it." 

Umiling ako and avoided his gaze, "I'm sorry." Nakita kong palapit siya sa akin in my peripheral vision. "Just go according to plan darling, if you expose yourself even more you'll be the hotseat of them." 

"And I don't want you to get stressed, because I know that the Remingtons and Stellards are here." Dagdag niya. 

Tumango ako sa kanya, I also have that feeling, because they brought the issue in the Philippines here in Japan.
