Chapter thirty-one: Finding you

Enzo's Point of view

I was currently in the meeting, a boring one actually. Like in every monthsary, we both are busy. The last text that I recieved from her is that she is also in a meeting but it's at Tokyo. The universe must hate me so much that it keeps me and my darling apart. 

I was tapping my pen on the table while listening to the presenter, I don't really get his proposal so this will be denied automatically. But since I am in the mood to give second chances right now I gave him another week to revise. Lumabas na ako ng building at naglakad papunta sa agency kung saan nakapark ang jet ko. 

I can leave tonight to see her but I decided not to, so kumaliwa ako ng daan papunta sa isang mall. Our monthsary is tomorrow and I haven't thought of a gift to give her. But I know that whatever she recieves she will appreciate it, she's Ravnna. 

She may look cold, strict, and an asshole but no. She's completely the opposite. She is so fragile that when she starts a fight with you she'll be the first one to break down and say sorry. Her heart is so pure and good, she helps people and make them happy. But she has that one flaw that almost every person close to her knows. Her selfish attitude. 

Sometimes she doesn't think of the possibilities that might harm her when she does a certain action, that's why she killed that person, Avalon? Because she let her emotions take over her mind. 

But I accepted that, because I love her. And that's why every day with her, is another reason of staying with her till the end. For the reason that she'll make our life worth it. 

I've made the decision to buy more books, and clothes. I also bought her a box full of white roses. I thought of giving her a flower with the whole universe because she deserves the universe but that is too common and I already treat her like my own universe. That's why I chose a simple flower, white rose that means purity, innocence, and eternity.

You can also consider it as everlasting love.

I didn't recieved a reply from her, she's probably resting. I still looked around and got her a ton of jewelry. I also picked up the customized ring that when you look closely to it, you can see a ton of reasons on what I love about her. 

You're probably thinking why did I put 'what' instead of 'why'. Well the answer to that is simple, I don't know why I love you but always remember that I love everything about you. 

The next morning I was ready to go back to Tokyo and greet her happy monthsary when I received an anonymous text. 

From: 09*********

I got your fiance, come back now and find her. Also the clue is, underground. 

Many thoughts started to popped in my head, what does the underground have anything to do with Ravenna? 

Is there someone that turned backs against us again? Or is it because of envy? There are many reasons and possibilities that might happen but I couldn't deduct one. My mind is clouded with just her. 

Is she alright? may nangyari bang masama sa kanya? Kung nakita ko lang talaga ang taong kumuha sayo I will not let him or her live for another split second. 

Out of rage pinalipad ko ang jet at mabilis itong pinaandar, if she was right here she would probably scold me for recklessly flying a plane. But trust me darling, I promised you that I will risk anything for you, even if my life was on the line. 

Nakarating na ako sa warehouse at tumakbo nalang ako papunta sa underground, I don't have my car here dahil si Ravenna ang gumagamit non. 

When the door opened I immediately roam around my eyes para tingnan kung nandito siyia, my eyes locked on her friend. 

Kinwelyohan ko si Saya bago tanungin, "Tell me where the fuck she is."  Umiling siya. 

"I can't tell you." This is bullshit, Saya. "But I know what might help you." 

I put her down before asking her, "You kidnapped your friend? I mean what did she even do to you?" 

Tinaasan niya ako ng kilay, "Ako? Kikidnapin siya? No way, kilala ko lang kung sino ang maaring kumuha sa kanya." I motioned her to keep talking. "It's Jesse, since the day he saw her I know his dirty intentions to her. He's currently staying at a beach resort 2 hours away from here, if my deductions are correct he's with her. So go and save her." 

Tumakbo ako paalis, I also borrowed Saya's care because my car was not in the Condo's parking area. 

I was driving so fast that I might get pulled over, but I don't really give a damn. It's her life that is at stake for pete sake and Jesse is the fucking reason the she might get a trauma. 

I was 30 minutes away from the location Saya pointed out whenI received another text from the random number. 

From: 09*********

Time is ticking, and if you don't show up in 20 I'll have the first taste. 

Fuck you, Jesse.

Binilisan ko lalo yung pagra-drive ko, inovertakan ko na lahat ng pwede kong unahan.

Di nagtagal nakarating na din ako sa isang maliit na beach resort. What is Jesse even doing here? I walked towards the open door, I didn't even bothered to knock or door bell. It's my fiance's life! I don't care if I'm trespassing anymore. 

"Darling?" I said but there was no response. I heard grunting noises upstairs so I ran as fast as I could to see her. 

Kinasa ko ang baril ko at buong pwersang sinipa ang pintuan that was already open. 

I saw nothing but black, I turned on the lights. 

"Happy monthsary!" 

I roamed my eyes around the whole room and it was full of presents I think. My anger and rage suddeny left my body when she kissed me. I responded to her kiss. 

"You were not kidnapped, were you?" Umiling siya bago tumawa. 

Umupo ako sa kama at tiningnan ang mga regalong naka balot sa mga mamahaling brands. I saw Dior, and Channel. 

"Saan ka nakahanap ng ganitong lugar? Magkano renta?" I asked. This must've cost her a fortune just for a one night stay. 

"I bought it," Napanganga ako sa sinabi niya. "Think of it as a new investment."  

I smiled before hugging her, "At the age of 21 you already got a lot of investments. Wow." 

The door opened and we saw Luke coming in, "Hi kuya! Na-miss kita." He jumped me kaya napahiga kami sa kama. 

"I missed you too. Now let's eat, I'm hungry darling."  

Habang kumakain kami may narinig kaming malakas na putok sa labas, "Shit!" Sabi niya. 

"Luke go upstairs, lock the door and close every single window." Sabi ni ravenna sa bata bago kumuha ng baril. 

"Someone followed us."
