Chapter forty-three: Process of elimination

I left the bathroom and joined them again, binura ko ang mga tumatakbo sa isip ko. Hindi importante ang mga nasa isip ko at kailangan kong pagka-abalahan ay kung sino ang gumawa ng pagsabog sa companya.

Sumasakit ang ulo ko, pero kahit ganon I still shared my thoughts about this situation. I was about to be questioned by the authorities when Hailey and Kaede pulled me in at the side. They gave me the judging look. 

I knew that Kaede or Hailey could read the room that fast, I would not call this as a fight. Tampuhan lang siguro, but I know that he's giving this arrogant state dahil nagpapakitang gilas siya kay Cassian. Kanina ko pa sila nakikita na nakikipag-kompitensya sa isa't isa. Ayaw pa nga nila ng tulong galing sa mga pulis eh. 

They already used a lot of tactics like process of elimination and other terms for detectives, parang ngang detective conan or Sherlock Holmes na ang datingan dito dahil sa mga deduction nila na hindi naman nakakatulong. 

They're making random conclusions that doesn't make sense because they only checked or observed one room. Sa lobby pa lang, the culprit could be anywhere. There are more than 20 floors in this building, pero since nagyayabangan pa sina Enzo at Cassian naunahan na sila ng ibang professionals. 

"Tell your co-officers to not check floor 18-21, me and my team will check it." Sabi ko sa isang pulis na dumaan sa gilid ko, I faced Kaede and Hailey again before asking them, "What's up? What do you need? We have a lot more important things to do than pulling me everywhere." 

Hailey sighed, "Let me guess, shooting glances from time to time, avoiding each other, and not wanting to talk to him." 

"You guys had a fight?" Tanong naman ni Kaede. I looked at Enzo who was beside of Cassian while talking to one of the officers before I nodded. "You mind telling us the reason?"

Nginitian ko sila bago umiling, "The reason is stupid, you would rather not hear it." 

They both patted my back before hugging me on both sides, "I know we are not that close anymore, but we're still your friends Ravenna. You should open to us, or Saya." Narinig ata ni Saya ang pangalan niya kaya lumapit siya sa gawi namin. 

"I heard my name, what's the problem? Oh, are you guys talking about the quarrel of Ravenna and Okazaki?" Saya looked at three of us before Kaede and Hailey nodded. "Kung ang ayaw niyang sagutin ako na ang sasagot, I overheard them earlier, nagyayabang si Enzo na kaya niyang isolve ito ng wala si Ravenna." 

"But then, Enzo is just doing this to show Cassian that he's smart." Sabi ni Kaede habang nakahawak sa baba. Tinapunan ng tingin ni Kaede si Ryota at sinenyas na paghiwalayin si Cassian at Enzo. Pero after a few minutes nagbalik nanaman ang dalawa, para silang may magnet. Kung hindi lang straight ang dalawa they could nprobably be together. 

"You want me to be honest right? I'm thinking of cancelling the wedding, but then again I can see what my lost would be if I break up with him with suck a dumb idea." Seryoso kong sinabi, they all nodded. 

"Love is like killing, you'll experience mix emotions, pain and destruction. But when a boy love's you more than you love him, that's when you'll know that he's worth it." Sabi ni Hailey, she hugged me again. 

"Let's talk about this later, for now let's just focus please." Iniwan na ako nilang tatlo sa gilid, I looked at the crowded place full of police tape and other things. I sighed before joining them again, nakita kong hinila ni Cassian si Enzo papunta sa isang kwarto. 

I was about to follow them baka kasi magpatayan pa yung dalawa pero pinigilan ako ni Calyx at Ryota, "Stop. Wear this." Inabutan ako ni Calyx ng earpiece, okay? Back to 2 years ago tayo? Ano to, Deja Vu? 

"Just listen, we'll explain later." Sabi ni Ryota. I sat down on the floor and got lost by their voices. 

"What the hell man?!" Sigaw ni Enzo, I flinched and held my ear dahil sa lakas ng boses niya. This is probably the first time I heard him shout like that. "Just tell me what you want, we still need to end and close this case." 

"You know that I can let her fall for me again," Sabi ni Cassian. Tumaas ang sarili kong kilay, seriously Cassian? Kung pagaagawan niyo lang ako or pagkokompitensyahan at ako ang prize consider your asses as busted. 

"In what way will you get her? I'm already her fiance, and the wedding is in 12 days, fucker." Nanlaki ang mata ko sa narinig ko, I actually smiled bgy myself. Natatawa pa nga ako eh, he actually called Cassian a fucker. 

"I can kiss her, and bring her to a room. If you know what I mean." 

I heard something, Enzo probably punched him. 

"Don't you dare." 

Bumukas ang pintuan kung nasaan yung dalawa kaya binigay ko agad kay Ryota ang earpiece, Enzo looked at me. Nagiisip kung ano ang gagawin, he muttered a curse before walking towards me. He hugged me and said sorry. 

Napansin kong lumabas na si Cassian, putok ang labi. Lumapit sa amin si Cassian, kumuyom ulit ang kamao ni Enzo pero pinigilan ko na siya, alam ko na ang sasabihin ni Cassian. "Calm the fuck down dude, it was just a test on how you will react. I'm gonna be honest here, I still love Ravenna, but since this is her happiness I'm willing to give her up. And when you two get married, I don't want to be the homewrecker." 

We all said sorry to each other bago umakyat sa taas, "How about we check on the legal department?" Suggestion ni Kaede. Tumango ako at pumasok sa elevator, I clicked the floor 19. Floor 18 and 19 ang legal department pero ang head attorney ay nasa floor 19. 

We opened the door and all of our jaws drop out of shock, who the hell did this to you?
