Chapter nineteen: Sapporo

It's been a few hours simula nang malaman naming may nagset up sa amin. And since then trending kami sa daily news, different headlines, articles, at baka mafeature din kami sa tv local news. 

Alasyete na ng umaga at dito na kami natulog sa underground, uminom din ako kaninang madaling araw kaya parang may hangover din ako.

"Assasinated?" I scoffed, tumayo ako sa pagkakaupo ko at ibinalik sa kanya yung phone niya. "Are they really serious, we are not the fucking assholes that are bad, they were the ones that wants us dead." 

"Maverick!" Sigaw ko na nagbigay atensyon sa buong underground, tumakbo palapit sa akin si Maverick na parang nagmadali pa. 

"Yeah? What do you need, and why did you shout my name that loud?" 

"I want you to go back to the place where we killed those shitty men and grab the camera, I want you and Jesse to track those people that setted us up. I want them discovered and exposed by the end of the day. Kapag hindi niyo yun nagagawa, considered yourselves as fired." Seryoso kong usal, pumasok ako ng office kasunod ko naman si Enzo. 

Narinig ko pa ang bulungan nung dalawa. 

"Bakit maiinit ulo ni Vesper? That's very odd." Maverick. 

"I know, I haven't seen her this mad since never. She was the soft type of person or that's the way I've met her. She never raises her voice if not needed, and she's nice. But in order to cool her head down we should do our work." Sagot ni Saya at narinig ko ang lakad nila palayo sa pintuan ng opisina. 

"Calm down, are you pregnant?" Mas uminit yung ulo ko sa sinabi niya at parang konting segundo nalang uusok na yung mga ilong ko. 

Kinuha ko yung baril ko at itinutok sa kanya, "Ikaw din mangaasar? Baka gusto mo pang mabuhay Okazaki?" Pagbabanta ko, I heard him chuckle before getting my gun and placing it back at the table. 

"Kumalma ka muna, darling. We will get to the bottom of this for the mean time take a chill pill. Also may update na kami sa long lost brother mo." Sabi niya kaya nagilaw ang mga mata ko. Finally something that is worth my time of. 

"Yeah, what about him?"

"Do you have any idea kung ilang taon yang kapatid mo?" Tanong niya, kaya napaisip ako. He probably was made when mom left for another country and did the mistake with that Stellard. 

"I was nine years old when she left me, and she laft me for 10 years. During those years that is probably the time when she made the mistake. So I'm guessing 10 year olds or 8 year olds." Sagot ko. 

"Okay then we have 4 kids in Sapporo that has the surname Stellard. These kids have no mom or dad, they are being take cared of their aunt or grandmother."

"Okay when can we meet them? Are they gonna go here or are we gonna fly out to that city." 

"I knew you were gonna ask that so here, I know you can fly a jet so come one pack few of you're clothes and we're gonna go there tonight." 

Tumango ako sa kanya bago magpaalam na babalik na sa condo, I also presented that I am going to pack his things because he still have somoe paper that he needs to sign. At kailangan niyang imonitor ang gawa ni Maverick at Jesse, kasi kapag hindi nila nahanp yung hayop na gusto kaming patayin sila ang papatayin ko.

Pagkapasok ko sa unit namin dumiretso na ako sa kwarto at kumuha ng dalawang backpack. We're just staying at Sapporo for two to three days, dahil hindi pa naman kami sure na nandoon nga yung kapatid ko. 

Naglagay na din ako ng mga hand guns, ammunitions, knives, at med kit. Naligo muna ako at nagpalit ng simpleng shirt at sweatpants, I don't want to make an impression to the people in sapporo, baka mapagsabihan nila na kami ang mystery duo / killer kineme ng mga headlines na kalat ngayon sa buong Japan. 

Dinampot ko ang dalawang bag ko at tinext si Enzo. 

To: Darling

Already done, where should we meet?

He replied in an instant, wala ba tong ginagawa ngayon sa underground? Wow ah, ako pa talaga priority. 

From: Darling

Take my car, I don't want you to walk. Meet me at the warehouse full of weapons, that is where I keep my private jet. Drive safely, I love you. 

Namula ako sa pagkabasa ko ng huli niyang pangungusap. I think nasa kamay na ko ng tamang tao, pero ito na rin yung sinabi ko kay Cassian eh. 

I drove to the destination at nakita ko si Enzo na nakaabang na sa labas ng gate, the gate opened automatically kaya ipinasok ko ang kotse doon. 

Pagkalabas ko ng kotse sinundan ko na si Enzo kung saan siya patungo, bumungad sa akin ang napaka gandang private jet. It's body is black and it has red outlines. Ang cool!

Kinuha sa akin ni Enzo ang dala kong mga bag at ako ang pinaunang pumasok sa loob. Umupo ako sa pilot area at siyia naman sa co-pilot. 

"This is cool." Sabi ko habang nakangiti. 

I saw him smile in my peripheral vision so I turned my atention to him. Napatitig naman ako sa mga mata niya, bakit hindi ko maialis ang titig ko sa mga mata niya? Bakit parang nahuli nito ang kaluluwa ko?

Isinuot niya yung headset sa akin bago ako halikan ng mabilis sa labi. 

I turned on a few signals and checked if there is a bad weather and the skiy seems clear so we're good to go. 

I was piloting the jet for about an hour and 40 minutes hanggat sa makarating kami sa isang jet pad. Parte daw ng agency nila yon. 

"The first kid is 6 blocks away from the agency, yun ang unahin natin." He held my hand before guiding the way to the place. 

We walked for about 6 minutes at narating namin ang isang maruming apartment. 

Room 301 daw ang tinutuluyan ng taong nagaalaga kasama yung batang possibleng maging kapatid ko. Kumatok kami sa pintuan pero walang sumasagot, we knocked again at mayroon nang nagbukas ng pinto. 

"Hendorikkusu, anata o hōmon dekiru nante sutekidesu." Nanlaki ang mata ko sa nakita kong pigura ng tao.
