Chapter thirty-four: Boss master

Months has passed since the Remington incident, and since then I started to work my ass off. Enzo's mom actually decided to train me, boss master is currently teaching me her ways. 

At her age, she is still strong and powerful. She can still probably do tasks, and eliminate the president or something. 

I was having a spar with her, and let me tell you we've been going for about 6 rounds and we have a pointing system. It's currently 4-2 She. She has 4 points, she's using tactics that I am not aware of. That is why I lose to her. 

I won the last round but she's still in the lead with a one point difference, I was panting and she was just wiping off her sweat. 

"Come on Ravenna, honey. I could still have another round." She got her water bottle and drank from it. 

I waved my hand before looking directly at her, "I think my body is about to burst. Fine you win." Pagsuko ko. Kanina pa kasi ako nakikipag-kompetensya sa kanya sa kung sino ang makakakuha ng pinaka maraming points. 

I drank water before sitting on the mat, she joined me and just stared at me. "You know, when I first saw you again after what 3 or 4 years my blood was boiling." She chuckled. 

I smiled remembering the times that she would always raise my voice at her. "I know that, you also cursed me a ton of times." 

She sighed, "And I'm sorry for that. After months of Enzo being with you and knowing that you guys are engaged. The realization hit me, it's that you proved that you are worth of his love and that your love is now sincere." 

She's like a mom to me, well when we get married she's basically my mom now. Atleast I would have someone to be my mother because my mother made a ton of mistakes, left me, and then became one with the stars. 

I actually felt that I didn't have a mother. I dind't notice that my tears started to pool beneath my eyes. 

She saw that sho she gave me a tight hug, she patted my back and rubbed it. Shushing me because she couldn't stand me crying. 

"Don't cry, Ravenna. I don't want you to show that you're weak. I don't want you to experience everything that I have experienced when I was your age. Crying whenever I couldn't take it anymore. Letting out your emotions is good, but when people see you like this they would most likely think that you're easy to beat." 

I wiped my tears before escaping her tight hug. 

"Can you tell me about your wedded life?" Pangiiba ko ng topic. Not only that we've become close but we treat each other as bestfriends now. I open to her most of the time and she gives me a lot of advices about it. 

She squinted her eyes before sitting properly again, "And why do you want to know? Iniisip mo na ba ang future niyo ni Enzo? Kailan niyo ba balak magpakasal?" She asked many questions, kapag hindi mataray ang mom ni Enzo she would be talkative like a typical highschool girl. 

"I am always thinking about our future, mom." I teased, because she once told me that she wanted a daughter after Enzo but that didn't happen. "We're going to get married when all of my issues are done and finished." 

"Oh, the issues with your ex bestfriend and friends, also the huge brawl between you and those two groups?" Tumango ako sa sinabi niya. She sighed, "Do you really want to know our relationship?" 

I nodded, "why would I even ask if I'm not interested?" 

"Arranged marriage kami, by two families that are powerful. We don't actually love each other, we just act like a happy couple because that is what Enzo likes. And that's basically it, my wedded life is not happy, because it's all an act." 

By the tone of her voice she probably likes to avoid the topic often, so I didn't bother to ask more about it. It's their own family problem, so I should not meddle in their privacy as a family. 

"So I would like to ask you a few questions about your future wedding before you risk your life at a battle again." Naglabas siya ng notebook at ballpen. 

"What do you mean?" Tanong ko. 

"I know that you guys will encounter your enemies again and you two have my full support on that war. But I would like to plan your wedding now, because I have a feeling that you guys will end the war and win it." She said while writing something on the notebook. Kahit nagtataka ako, I motioned her to fire the questions. 

"Where do you want your wedding to happen?"

"I want a beach wedding at El Nido Philippines." 

Tumango siya, "And how many would you like to go to your wedding?" 

"Shouldn't you be asking Enzo about this too?" Tanong ko at natawa siya. 

"I'm here darling, don't worry." nagulat ako dahil may biglang tumabi sa akin. "And I'd like anything you would like," dagdag niya. 

"I would like a private wedding, my family and a few friends with your family and his few friends." Sabi ko at itinuro si Enzo. 

"I agree, mas gusto kong maliit na kasalan ang maganap dahil apag marami magkakagulo especially Hendrix and Okazaki surnames, big time tayo." Singit ni Enzo. 

"Motif?"

"Red." Sabay naming sinabi ni Enzo, kaya natawa nalang kami. 

"That's all, consider your wedding set next month September 18." Wait ganon ka bilis? Paano kung hindi pa tapos yung issues namin? 

But his mom already standed up and left us, kaya hindi na kami makakatanggi. I looked at Enzo who was just smiling. 

"What?" tanong niya. 

"You seriously wouldn't stop the wedding? You think we're rushing too much?" 

"We're almost 2 years of being together, and that's fine, darling." He said before helping me up. 

"I need to tell you something." Sumeryoso ang mukha niya, I gulped hard because I know this is something to do with kaede and the others. Tumango ako, "You said to make another background check of their team. And I found out that they have 2 more new recruits. If I'm not mistaken their names are Kaelyn and Gavin." Kumunot noo ko. 

"Kaelyn is my half sister, yung anak ni dad sa labas." Sabi ko, he sighed before talking again. 

"And your sister is already married to the man named gavin. I think it's the father of her child." 

Napaawang ang labi ko, nauna pa talagang magpakasal si Kaelyn bago ako. Pero wala akong magagawa, may pamilya na sila so it's their decision. I'm not there to guide her, then so be it. 

"And also, they landed here yesterday. Nasa Japan na sila, at hinahanap ka na."
