Chapter thrity-eight: Plan

Nagising na si Enzo at inexplain ko sa kanya ang mga nangyari. Sinermonan pa nga niya ako dahil niligtas ko pa daw siya eh kaya niya naman daw ang sarili niya. 

At ayaw niya din na nasa iisang bubong sila ni Cassian, baka daw masuntok niya yon ng wala sa oras. Ryota offered to cook lunch for us, kinabukasan na kasi nung muntikan na kaming mahuli ng mga Remington at Stellard.

"So ano ang plano?" Tanong ni Maeve, I actually talked to her yesterday. Ang sabi niya number one fan niya daw ako, supporter siya sa akin. And she knows how to fight kasi tinuruan siya ng ex niya, at natuto siyang lumaban dahil lagi siyang inaapi ng tatay niya. Parang kay Hailey lang but at the same time different. 

When you look at her, she is rude and doesn't give a damn about no one. But no, she has a good heart and she and Kaelyn could be friends. Parehas lang ata sila ng age. 

Nagkibit balikat ako, "I don't want to tell you our plan." turo ko kay Enzo. "But I would like to hear your leaders plan. I'm sure she has one, and I would like to see Kaede in action." 

They laughed, "Don't give me that kind of pressure." Sabi ni Kaede bago uminom ng tubig. 

Nagtama ang tingin namin ni Cassian pero agad siyang umiwas, hindi pa din kami nagkakausap. And we didn't show anything to them that we are lovers. Hindi pa namin ipinahalata, natulog nga si Enzo sa lapag kagabi at si ate at Mave doon sa couch namin sa kwarto. Tapos yung iba sa kwarto ni Luke, nagtaka nga sila kung bakit ganon ang design pero hindi na nila tinanong sa akin. 

"Just anything, I want to see if you got my mind." Sabi ko at tiningnan sila. 

"They are probably so pissed right now because we got away, so it's already given that they're locating us at the moment." Sabi ni Riley at tumango ako, may point siya at tama siya. Nabaling ang atensyon ko kay Kaede. 

"We could pretend that after you save us yesterday we went on seperate ways we hate you and Enzo." 

"Yeah, like why are you even with him?" Nagulat ako ng magsalita si Cassian, he was giving Enzo the dark stare. Enzo just smirked at him para maasar siya lalo. "Like he's your ex, are you that fragile?" 

Pati sila Kaede napanganga dahil sa mga inuusal niya, sabihan ba naman akong marupok. I don't want a fight, Cassian. Nakita kong kinuyom na ni Enzo ang kamao niya at handa nang suntukin si Cassian pero tinapik ko siya. 

"What you're gonna hit me? Go ahead dude, I'm not afraid of you. Tapatin mo nga ako Okazaki, ano ang intensyon mo kay Ravenna?" Tanong pa ulit ni Cassian. 

I know sasagot si Enzo, and I trust his answer. "What if I told you that I like her? And what does it matter when we're friends? You are also her ex and she still treats you like her friend." 

Hindi ko na natiis na hindi sumabat, "Cassian, being friends with an ex is not called being marupok. It's called maturity." Inirapan ko siya. 

Natahimik ulit kami, pero mabuti nalang at nagsalita si Riley. "Okay so later night everything is settle, we'll pretend that we hate each other then papatumbahin natin sila then Ravenna could explain everything to us." 

Nagtanguan kami. There is this heavy tension in the room na hindi maiiwasan, magkaroon ba naman ng sagutan session kanina yung ex ko at yung fiance ko. Oh diba haba ng hair ko, but anyways tatayo na sana sila to mind their own business. Pero nagsalita ako. 

"You guys have somewhere to stay in? I heard you guys have rented and apartment 9 blocks away from here, and I think you guys should take my old condo unit at the left wing." Sabi ko at ngumiti silang lahat maliban kay Cassian. 

"Girl, you're so generous. IBang iba talag nung kinakausap ka namin through phone. Dapat matapos na natin to para malaman na namin lahat. Especially on what's really going on between you and Enzo." Sabi ni Kaede bago lumabas ng balcony. 

"At ikaw ang pinaka scam na tao sa buong mundo, you're the lady from the ball. Ayan na ayan ang buhok niya oh." Sabi ni Riley.

"Yeah, ako yun." Tumawa ako, hinila ako ni Enzo papunta sa storage room. At ikinataka ko naman yun, nagulat nalang ako ng bigla niya akong halikan dito. "What the heck, darling?" 

"Nabwiset ako kay Priam, kaya ayan hinalikan na kita para alam ng isip ko na ikaw ay akin lang."

Biglang bumukas yung pintuan kaya naghiwalay agad kami, si Kaelyn. "Uhh, what are you guys doing here?" Tanong niya bigla naman sumilip si Hailey sa pintuan. 

"Yeah, why did Enzo pull you here?" 

"Cause..." Come on Ravenna think! "We are planning to give you guys new guns..." I laughed awkwardly before pointing our gun collection. Namangha naman sila at tiningnan lalo ang mga baril na nakadisplay. 

Pumasok na din sila Calyx at Ryota. "Damn, you guys have a lot of budget here." Sabi ni Calyx sabay hawak sa mga SMG guns.

"Of course, I am the owner or the heir of Okazaki agency. And my mom used to bring us new set of guns every week in our condo." Sagot ni Enzo, "You guys can pick what you like to use in our battle later."

"Wait, our condo? Diba kay Ravenna to?" Tanong ni Maeve. Agad akong umiwas ng tingin at nagpanggap na may pinagkakaabalahan sa gilid. "Oh right, keep your questions until we finish the battle." 

"I want to get drunk and wasted after this." Singit ni Kaelyn at agad pinandilatan ni Gavin ang asawa. Natawa nalang ako, sana all!

Dalawang oras nalang ang natitira bago kami umalis, mangagaling sila sa South at kami sa East. At magkikita kami sa isang alley na medyo malayo dito. Doon kasi madalas gusto pumatay ng mga kalaban namin, sa mga madilim at tagong lugar. 

I was fixing some ammunitions when Kaelyn called me. "Ate, can I talk to you?"  I shot Enzo a glance before I nodded. 

Lumabas kami sa balcony and smelled the fresh wind, "So what do you want to talk about?"

She looked at me in the eyes and all I could see there was fear I can see her tears pooling, I tried to wipe it pero tuluyan nang tumulo ang mga ito. She hugged me tight and I hugged her tight too. Aww, this kid probably is so scared right now especially when she got married and all that. 

"Don't cry, Kaelyn. Nandito ako kung hindi mo na kaya ang lahat, I'll be your tissue to your tears, your support when everyone is turning against you." 

She chuckled bitterly, "I needed that but you were not around. You left me, us. You left when I was at my worst." 

I smiled, "Well, we can't bring back time. But remember, I'm here now, and you've found me." He hugged me again and stayed like that for minutes, "Kaede is also your ate, why didn't you open up to her?" 

"I did, but she's too busy handling the team you left." 

"For the record, siya ang nagpaalis sa akin."  

Pumasok na kami at biglang sumalubong sa akin yung asawa niya, "Hi, I'm Gavin your sisters husband." He took out his hand and placed in front of me. I smiled before shaking hands with him. 

Dumaan na ang dalawang oras at naghiwalay na kaming lahat, let's end this shit.
